Genuwin is one of my favorite places in the world. My daughters both play travel softball and we have been tons of different places for trainings, practices and games. The level of training that my girls receive from the trainers at Genuwin is unparalleled. My girls have worked with every trainer there and the training remains consistent, which anyone who has had multiple coaches knows that is hard to find. They offer tons of defensive camps, catching, pitching, there are the weekly lessons we do as well that are all amazing. Genuwin coaches always manage to find a way to make these girls have fun while busting their butts. No matter how many times we have been to these camps and trainings they always keep things new and keep the kids interested and coming back for more. Not only are the kids taught the right way to do things but they are also constantly encouraged and have really found a place that they feel like they belong to. These coaches really believe in the kids they train and will go above and beyond again and again to make sure that kids receive every opportunity to succeed and be what they want to be. This isn't even limited to softball. The coaches at GST teach these girls life lessons. They encourage them to work hard for what they want in life, they encourage them to be supportive to team mates, they teach them respect for not only the game but for the world and want them to be Genuinely good people. Dirt Devils Softball Organization has been training at GenuWIN for over 7 years now. Our program went from a "B" organization to an "A" over this time. When we sat down with the owner Marcy we explained our struggles that 2 out of 7 teams did well and the other 5 didn't do well at all. We also stated that we wanted to build and develop strong and independent women that would give back to their communities. She came up with a plan that she and her staff would train all of the teams equally along with the coaches. I realized she was right so we started working together and her trained staff helped mold our organization. We have been very fortunate that all of our players that have moved up through the program have all been able to get recruited to play in college. I feel training at GenuWIN has helped us compete at the highest level and gain a lot of college recognition. We owe Marcy and her staff a lot for the endless hours of help and training! My daughter has been going to GenuWIN for about 4 years now and it has been an amazing experience! She has had the pleasure of being taught by all of the staff and she would not be where she is without them. As she heads of to play in college in a short 6 months she has so much thanks to give to GenuWIN. The faculty is clean and well maintained and the staff is amazing! Marcy makes sure that all instructors teach the same techniques and mechanics so you are not hearing different things from different instructors while accommodating to the athletes ability. They also keep the parent informed on what they are doing and how to help them. I have seen my daughter grow so much into a strong independent young woman and contribute some of that to the training she has received there. I have no doubt that when my daughter comes home from college she will want to go visit all her coaches at GenuWIN. What an amazing crew they have. My daughter was on the verge of quitting pitching. But I told her before you hang it up, lets go see this Marcy at Genuwin. To this day I don't know what they talked about as they walked away for 15 minutes but my daughter had a change of heart and went on to get a full ride in college where she has broken many of the pitching and hitting records for her College. Marcy brought out the best in my daughter and she relates well with kids. She teaches them not only the proper mechanics but also teaches them about life. My daughter loves Marcy and I am kind of sad that our Genuwin days are now over. But what we have learned from them over the past 4 years is amazing. During the 5 years my daughter has been playing travel softball (only feels like 20), we've worked with dozens of coaches at myriad facilities throughout northern Illinois. When we were introduced to Marcy, it was like coming home. It's rare to find a coach in this day and age who truly cares about the well being of the whole player from a mental, physical, and emotional standpoint. Not only is she a pitching and hitting wizard, but a professional trainer, physical therapist, and part-time psychologist. I've never felt my daughter has been in better hands as a player, athlete, or student. She can't wait to get there every week, and doesn't want to leave when her lesson is done. When my daughter was asked to join a team that trained at Genuwin I thought that she would just be learning some skills that would improve her and her teammates game. I had no clue how much more she would gain from GenuWin and it's staff. Not only are the coaches extremely knowledgeable in how to develop the fundamentals, but they truly care about each and every player who sets foot through the door. What can I say.. GenuWIN is the bomb!!! All the trainers/staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They all have passion for their jobs and want to see your kids succeed. My daughters have been going there for almost 2 years and what a difference. Training with GenuWIN has been unbelievable for them, stats and confidence. They are all about developing the knowledge of the game and skills. They even work with my daughters on the mental part of the game, which is huge for teenage girls!!! GST is an amazing facility for your child to train. The staff there truly cares about the athletes. Not only do they prepare the children for softball or baseball, but they give quite a few life lessons along the way. My daughter has been training there there since she was 10 years old, and she is now 17. The awesome thing is, she loves being there more now, and she would beg to go when she was younger. GenuWIN Sports Training is a top-notch softball and baseball training facility. The facility contains 7 batting cages and two infields and has ample parking. ALL instructors are highly knowledgeable and genuinely care about their students. Nothing but a great experience at Genuwin. GST is the cleanest sports complex that we've been in. Two indoor fields are great for practices or 6 on 6 games.
