This is the biggest national forest I've ever visited! There are many ways to get in, but one thing…read moreis for sure..do not follow this Yelp address. It will only take you to the headquarters. The forest is an hour away from this building. You can type in the name into any map and choose one of the entrances. The way we went was through a back road passing several homes in the flat valley that's surrounded by mountains and woods. It will lead you to the welcome sign, then you'll pass a camp ground. There are less people going this way, so the hikes might only have 1/2 a dozen people on it. You will see many trails options, and they will all be gorgeous! The Skokomish Lower South Fork Trail is a great one. It has a very small gravel parking area, and it is a 6 mile hike in total. You'll go in 3 miles to Brown Creek, and then back 3 miles. I would say it's a semi strenuous hike. There's some down hill, and uphill, but mostly its level. Bring plenty of water, SPF, and snacks. Also stop at the restroom just before heading up the gravel road to the beginning of the trail. You'll pass a few little ice cold babbling brooks that will be very easy to walk across without getting your feet wet.

There are levels to the hiking trails if you want steepness or not. Just do your research beforehand where it is you want to go and what it is you want because there is no signal here at times. this is a reeaaalllly big park, so a lot to do, but also a lot where you could get lost. there are winding roads to drive through and it gets a bit scary if you going during nighttime because the downhills make u go fast...especially with the snow ;-; watch urself and have gps on!!!!

I accidentally booked a 16+ room, paying only attention to the FAQ page that said it is a great activity for all ages. I have done this before by accident, now I see it in all caps. I don't mean to be careless at all, nor inconvienance anyone. I booked a party for second graders. They were so nice. They flooded the clue gates and were gracious when one of the kids broke a prop . I was preparing for a confrontation or cold frot after we left, but they were warm and happy. We all were happy. This was one of the most sophisticated and impressive escape rooms we've seen. What a treasure for our beautiful city. And we got through, as the kids have said for the last night and day, with "5 seconds left on the clock". All seven elementary school girls were enthusiastic and rose to each challenge with intellect, humor and vigor. I can't impress upon you enough what a positive experience this was for my family. Thank you for the kindness, the creativity and the challenge. It is all I could ever want for a celebration of life.

We had such an amazing time and I couldn't stop raving about it to friends and family. Recently, I had booked the Landlords Escape and unfortunately one of my party members woke up the morning of sick. The staff were so kind and understanding on such short notice. They quickly cancelled the booking and gave me a voucher to reschedule for a different day. I cannot give high enough praise to the staff and the escape rooms they provide.

Trained SSEA volunteers go to Priest Point Park, Burfoot County Park, Tolmie State Park, and Frye Cove during low tide to educate the public about the creatures that live on the beach. Priest Point, Burfoot and Tolmie just happen to be my favorite local parks! The Beach Naturalist Program is fun and informative. It's great for children and adults. This takes place at Boston Harbor Marina on the 1st Saturday of the month. It is so popular you have to register to secure your spot. Children 6-11 are free and it is $10 for adults. This was a great activity for me because I used to live very close to Boston Harbor Marina. Register at sseacenter.wordpress.com/pier-peer I have lots of love for SSEA. They are also going to have an Estuarium (a marine life discovery center) opening sometime in July.

I've been here 3 times now. The first time I stopped in I had yet to have eaten dinner. My friend…read moreand I stopped into the bar where a live cover band was playing. They were pretty good and entertaining. We ordered the Nachos, which is quite possibly the largest serving of nachos I've ever seen, they filled an entire large pizza pan, piled high with every topping imaginable including both queso and cheddar cheese with lots of meat. We defeated them however. Our server was very friendly and we enjoyed the music while eating and watching people bowl through the windows looking at at the bowling area. After eating we headed over to go bowl. The alley itself is huge. It has that old 1970's vibe that many older bowling alleys still possess. I suppose it could use a little updating in that regard, but at the same time it gives off a feeling of nostalgia. There was a wide variety of music playing from the jukebox which can be used via an app on your phone. There's also a snack bar in the bowling area where you can order from the restaurant / bar. The bowling computers were up to date, and the lanes were clean with plenty of seating. There were also a sufficient amount of courtesy balls to use. (I need to have my own ball re-drilled) The guests around us were also friendly and fun. It is a very social environment but not rowdy or unruly. The bowling area also has lots of arcade games and other fun things to play. It's a very fun place to spend a free Saturday evening, but be sure to leave some extra time as there may be a wait for a lane if they're busy. One little tidbit of advice / criticism... the bowling shoes are mostly badly worn and the pair I had kept sticking so I couldn't slide my feet properly when throwing the ball. It nearly caused me to stumble multiple times. Also... most of the shoes cover multiple sizes meaning they weren't an exact fit which also didn't help. New shoes please? Also... a moonlight bowling or blacklight bowling night is a must... get one!

Their website is horrible. There 0 information on what's allowed or not, and then you bring balloon and confetti and they yell at you There is only one restroom and there were a lot of people. Our birthday "room" was in a hall with dividers - where others peoples were having a party. The service girl was constantly very stressed, Red in the face and kept bringing thighs we did not order lol. The last complain - I promise - the "DJ" was playing slow elevator music, from the 70's and kids all went off the rink and was just sitting in the small divider ))) I went to the DJ- asked for music suitable for 9-10 year girls and boys and girls my mum. He said 0- oh I don't what to play ((( maybe you make a music list and give to me? I gave him $20 and he forgot about the list. I would still go there w my kids - just to skate, in dark cold evenings- but if you are planning a birthday party, think again. Thank you. P.S. I rarely write bad reviews but my daughter was very nervous that her friends were bored out of their mind, all the decorations went to waste, so my e random little kids will come and eat from their table and the service girl was basically screaming at them.
