The job included 40 tall blighted-pines in a tight heavily weeded cluster (mature pines towering 60-70 feet high with trunks at much as 24 inches in diameter). The trouble is that he left the job a big mess. He left tree limbs and lots of brush on the ground. We had agreed that he didn't have to chip all the trees he took down, but that he could throw a couple of them down into the crevice behind my house. As far as I can see, he didn't do that. He left a large piece of one of the trees he removed hanging on one of the trees I wanted to keep. It looks so ugly. The neighbor on one side can clearly see the ugliness, and that's an embarrassment to me. I called to ask him to return to clean up the area he had worked on. He said he would, but that that would cost me an additional $300. I don't believe I told him if I would pay him that or not. He said he'd call so that we can schedule his time at my house. He never called. I called him a total of three times and left messages that I wanted him to complete the work, but he never returned my calls. So I'm upset about this and also because I think I probably paid too much for the work he did. Another issue is that the view from my neighbor's house is very unpleasant; they have to see the mess in the back of my house. All in all, it's a tough situation for me because I doubt I can get another contractor to come to clean up the mess John Blalock left me with. I'm unable to send you photos because I'm elderly and don't know how to accomplish that.

He showed up at 8:30am promptly the day we discussed and starting working. He quickly scaled the tree, cutting limbs as he went, until the tree looked like a stick. Then, he proceeded to come down the tree, cutting the tree down log by log. All in all, he cut down 3 trees and removed the brush from the property, leaving the logs in roughly 5-6hrs total (counted a short break and the him having to go get the wood chipper). I highly recommend this company because of professionalism and value! He is just starting out, but will definitely use him again!
