So easy to make an appointment. You can call or use their online booking tool. The office was new with state of the art equipment. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a bridge that broke in my rear molar. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me on an expensive procedure. He was honest and straight forward and told me to live without it for a few weeks and see if I felt I needed to have it replaced. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. Meh: the dentists are mid as I had a dental crown fall off within two years (for context, my other crown from a different practice stayed put for over 15 years). Some of them also try to aggressively push for services / procedures you don't need - seek a second opinion when in doubt. Negatives: their billing department runs an absolute racket with shady practices. They try to charge you upfront prior to submitting to your insurance, lie to your face that insurance denied the claim (it was denied because the "claim" was integral to the procedure and no separate payment was applicable), and try to charge you beyond insurance negotiated rates by calling it an "upgrade". Take a printout of your insurance EOB and compare with their itemized invoice prior to paying anything!

The women at the front desk were welcoming and just gave off a vibe that told me I was going to be taken care of. I don't remember her name for certain, but I think it was Skye (or maybe Kelli?) who prepped me with getting x-rays, explaining what the process most likely would be, and assisting Dr. Wolgin. She also made me feel welcome and appreciated as a patient (and was right on target about what to expect!) Prior to this visit my dentist had tried a few things to pinpoint the pain but wasn't successful. Dr. Wolgin had it clearly identified within just a few minutes and was able to start shortly after that. Not so long story short, the whole process was painless. Dr. Wolgin and Skye (I'm hoping I've got her name right!) worked as a true team, seamlessly going through the root canal process. Watching them work together added to my confidence that all would be well. It all went perfectly and I was out much sooner than expected - from arrival to departure it wasn't much more than an hour. Just amazing, as I didn't feel anyone was rushing - they just know how to do their jobs and do them very well! While I know they will try and prioritize emergency cases as best as possible, even if you have to wait a few days it truly is worth the wait to get an appointment. No one looks forward to a root canal but after this experience I know where I'll be going if another one is needed! It really was painless!

My general dentist referred me to Prime. When I called they saw me immediately. Prime retreated a failed root canal and found a root that had not been treated originally. 8 years ago I would have given Dr. Kachur 5 stars. Today I can't. She isn't the same person I saw…read moreall those years ago when I moved to the area from out of state. Back then she was compassionate. On time. Complimentary. She even went so far as to verbally reprimand a hygienist (who is no longer there) who repeatedly asked me if my mother got mammograms after I told her that my mother had died from breast cancer. My dad moved to the area recently and I recommended Dr Kachur to him for a dentist. His experiences were nothing but negative. She arrived late multiple times and seemed very focused on herself during conversations. This was not the doctor I knew and I couldn't believe he was having these experiences. I was a little wary when she told me last spring that she thought I was a heavy grinder and needed a mouth guard right away. This was the first time in 8 years she mentioned something. Then was a little put off when I couldn't afford to dish out the $500 to cover the cost my insurance won't pay. First red flag. Fast forward to my last appointment with her in December 2015. I went for a cleaning and to fix a filling that had chipped for the second time. Dr. Kachur showed me the colors she had shown my dad. Very abrasive emotionally and rough shoving a film in between my teeth. When I started to cry she got all defensive and walked out. Jackie one of the hygienists comforted me. I took the blame when Dr Kachur came in and said I was extra emotional due to fertility drugs I was taking at the time. I always take the blame especially in situations where I don't want to create a scene. Dr. Kachur proceeded to tell me that she had to tell her doctor years ago that her hormonal meds she took years ago made her super emotional and therefore she wanted to stop. I took this as her implication that she thought I should do the same. You don't imply that to anyone much less a woman who struggles with infertility! She also never said sorry for being abrasive with me and asked me why I was crying because she "didn't say or do anything wrong." Later that day I decided to walk away for good from this practice. I wish that all the recognition that she has gotten didn't change her personality. Because long ago she was a kind doctor. It's a sad shame. I must say that Jackie, Louise, Lily and the other people I have encountered have been nothing but kind. But the way I was treated the last time by a doctor was the deciding factor for me to leave.
