Positives: the facilities are clean, hygienists are friendly and make you feel at ease prior to procedures. Meh: the dentists are mid as I had a dental crown fall off within two years (for context, my other crown from a different practice stayed put for over 15 years). Some of them also try to aggressively push for services / procedures you don't need - seek a second opinion when in doubt. Negatives: their billing department runs an absolute racket with shady practices. They try to charge you upfront prior to submitting to your insurance, lie to your face that insurance denied the claim (it was denied because the "claim" was integral to the procedure and no separate payment was applicable), and try to charge you beyond insurance negotiated rates by calling it an "upgrade". Take a printout of your insurance EOB and compare with their itemized invoice prior to paying anything! read more

Ehhhh. I'm currently interviewing new dentists after moving an hour away, and while there were no big red flags, I didn't like the overall feel of the office. It has a cold, corporate atmosphere, and I really didn't have a good feeling about the staff (they were not warm and fuzzy.) I also didn't like that the dentist suggested I get Invisalign because it was not at all related to my visit (a possible inflamed gum.) I am also 41 yrs old, and I have no desire to make my teeth perfect after having had braces at 13 yrs old. Overall, my visit seemed more about their agenda than mine, and I detected a strong 'business' vibe here that was less about client care and more about their bottom line. This was my dental office for 15 years, I spent $10k plus having veneers/crowns put on my entire upper mouth. Those veneers have since failed, according to them at my last visit - however that is not the reason for my review. I moved out of the area for awhile and in August, went back to this office because I trusted them and I had a very painful issue with one of my teeth. I also had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer almost 1 year before the visit with this office, so my bones/gums/teeth had deteriorated even more so. The office took a ton of x-rays and indicated to me that I basically needed to have all of my teeth pulled, which I was okay with - get dentures for now and then later provided I survived the cancer consider going with full-mouth implants. The dentist indicated that their recommended oral surgeon was in need of replacement, but that they would come up with a complete plan for my entire mouth taking into account my medical situation. They indicated that they would contact my oncologist as well, just to get the okay on the work - extractions, etc. I was in agreement with the tentative plan and agreed completely about getting the okay from my oncologist just to be safe. They were very specific about me waiting to hear from them due to the situation with not currently having an oral surgeon to hook me up with. To date, over 4 months later: 1) I have not heard one word from this office 2) They NEVER even contacted my oncologist, which I verified This has left me extremely depressed and feeling very lost as to what to do - this is only the 2nd regular dentist that I have had in my entire life (I am 50) and I feel like they have totally turned their back on me. So, unless you are an Eagles player (they are apparently the "official dentist of the Eagles" now) I would not recommend going to this dentist. I guess now that my cancer is Stage 4 and possibly terminal, they don't see any point in treating me because in they may not see any income from me in the long-term in the even that I pass way. Even if I survive the cancer, I am assuming they would not see any income from me in the event that I receive full-mouth dentures. I am just at an absolute & complete loss that a dentist who I saw 3 times a year most years for approx 15 years could just so callously not even attempt to help me. I feel the need to share my experience in the hopes that readers of this may pass this dentist by and find one who truly cares long-term about their patients. They moved buildings a few months ago, and their new space is really great! Lots of rooms, and each room is outfitted with nice dental chairs that include massage. Also, each room has two TVs - one mounted on the wall like you would expect, and one mounted on the ceiling so you can watch TV while your mouth is being examined! Of course, most important is the people, and my hygienist Diana was really great - very gentle and thorough! The dentist, when he came in, was also very good. I don't usually write reviews, but in this case feel compelled. Lots of people don't like going to the Dentist, that should never be the case with Blue Bell Dental. They have one of the most professional medical practices I've seen. 1) Everyone has a positive and caring attitude (looks like that starts from the top). 2) Understanding patients needs and budget 3) Thorough explanations of procedures On a personal note, I had problems with some work done by a prior Dentist. At the recommendation of a coworker, we started seeing these folks when we moved this area. We had multiple issues with them. Worst was a crown was forced on my wife's tooth that never fit and kept coming off after multiple visits. The reviewing dentist I'm pretty sure forced his pick deep into our teeth to cause cavities. I had a filling fall out. After multiple visits, we went to another dentist, and finally found a competent dentist who pointed out the poor work that was done, and had to fix much of the work. We went here because they do their work within what the insurance company would pay. I'm afraid you get what you pay for. I will say that the receptionist was very attractive and nice, and the offices clean, but it's really the quality of dentistry that matters the most. read more

I have always had trouble with my teeth since I was a tot, so dentists have been a part of my life for many years. I was fortunate 3 years ago to come across Blue Bell Dental Associates. The entire staff is amazing from the front desk, to the business office, the hygienists, the dental assistance and the dentists. We had to move almost two hours away and I still would take the ride down to have my teeth taken care of with this office and I am glad we recently moved closer to the office. Do not trust this dentist office at all. This is one of those dental offices where they will tell you need a procedure but do not. Always get a second opinion. I had a female doctor INSIST I needed a crown. I had a crown put in and was told by my insurance company and other dentists that reviewed the x-ray this was an UNNECESSARY procedure. Now I am stuck with a crown that was poorly placed that I cannot eat on that side of my mouth. Their customer service is worse. The woman who handles payment disputes should not be working with customers. The only reason why I decided to give this place a 1 is because one of the ladies working the front desk is nice and the facility is clean. You put your trust in the people who are supposed to be the experts and look out for your best interests. This place does not come off like they do. Aesthetically the office is wonderful. I became a patient of Dr. Dudhat after being involved in a serious accident. During a camping weekend with my girlfriend and her family I was injured badly on my 4 wheeler. I thought I completely lost one of my front teeth and the other was badly damaged. Needless to say, I was in significant pain. Dr. Dudhat agreed to see and treat me immediately after it happened - on a Sunday. I was in a tremendous amount of pain and on top of that I am admittedly a bad patient. I am terrified of the dentist. Going to Dr. Dudhat was the best possible choice. Not only did he explain the process but he kept me involved throughout the process. He also did an A+ job at managing any discomfort I could have had. I went through 2 root canals and I will say on a scale of 1 -10 my pain level was managed to about a 2. I had orthodontic work done when I was a child but there had always been a small gap between my front teeth and with the repair that was completed following my accident, Dr. Dudhat even fixed that. I am completely satisfied with my new smile and am eternally grateful for the work done by Dr. Dudhat and his team of experts!! read more

I do not have dental insurance, and so I go with the plan that they have in the office. With the plan prices, the hurt on your wallet is not so bad. Dilip Dudhat, the boss dentist, did two implants at a reasonable price, and more than year out, the implants are working well. I just had a hygiene visit today, and I did not get any pressure for upselling services. The hygienist, whom I have seen before, did a very thorough job. I have to go back to get two cavities filled in two weeks, and the estimate for the work in their in-house plan was quite reasonable. I am definitely sticking with this office. read more

Truly one of the worst dental office experiences I have ever had. My first appt. was for cleaning, the hygienist, Sylvia, was very nice, friendly and caring - turns out she was a sub/temp, but towards the end it felt as if someone was standing in the hall making "wrap it up motions" as she hastily went through the flossing. Dr. Pasalic came in to look at my teeth and x-rays and evaluate the pain I was having. She told the hygienist I needed a root canal - not me, the hygienist. They didn't want to do the root canal in their office because of the way the root was formed and gave me a referral to an endodontist who did not take my insurance plan. Fortunately I called the insurance company before going in for a $1,200 procedure that would not be covered. The insurance company gave me the name of an endodontist in my area who accepted Delta Dental insurance and I called Blue Bell Dental back to have the referral changed. I was in serious pain. After days of calling back and forth between them and the insurance company they still had not done anything to straighten out the referral - my understanding was that all they had to do was contact the insurance and tell them "she needs to see a specialist because...." and they would put the referral number in my file so that I was cleared to go to the specialist. I was in near tears to the customer service rep at the insurance company and they gave me an "emergency" referral to go see the endodontist for an evaluation and asked that I have his office then put in for an "urgent care" referral number to cover the full procedure and only pay the $300 copay instead of the entire $1,200 that I guess the people at Blue Bell Dental think people don't mind paying so they don't have to do their jobs. This was extra work for the endodontist's staff and not their job, but they worked with me and were fantastic about it so it worked in the end, but people should not be made to jump through hoops to get the care they need. After the root canal I went back to Blue Bell for the temp crown, which was mostly fine, and then scheduled an appt. to have the permanent crown affixed and two fillings repaired/redone. The appt. was scheduled right before Christmas, and they cancelled it because the dentist decided she wanted a day off - not that I didn't have better things to do that week too, but really, schedule your days off in advance of making appointments or stick to your commitments. I went in for the rescheduled appointment, but they didn't have me in their records. The squeezed me in to put on the permanent crown, but did not have time to do the fillings, so I had to go back yet again. Also they do not give you any kind of invoice/statement when you walk out that breaks out the specifics of the procedures so you can compare it to your insurance schedule and know what you're being billed for and just to keep your own records of what was done. Past dentists have given me this, even my vet gives me this. The quality of the dental work was fine, just did not like the way I was treated AT ALL. Oh, and they wanted to pull my wisdom teeth, which are not impacted since I had molars extracted before braces as a teen, just because "they'll need to come out eventually anyway (oh, and we want to make the money off of it)." I would avoid Dr. Dudhat's practices (he has many) at all costs. They are factory dentists looking to churn patients in and out and make maximum money for him and this is reflected from the top down. read more
