After my long journey to Prague, prior to getting to my hostel, I was hungry, cold, and in need of some food. I had bookmarked George Prime Burger and saw that they were open until 11pm. I got there at around 10:10pm and asked if they were still serving food. The server looked annoyed and told me I'd have to get my order in ASAP because they were doing last call soon. As a server myself back in Hawaii, I know how annoying it is for someone to come in right before last call and have them loafing around, so I instead just got an order of their Truffle Fries (85czk) to go, to save them the headache. The food came out in about 6 minutes and she processed my card and I was on my way. She even wrote "Stay Warm" on my to-go container (because it was like 30 degrees outside haha) which I thought was a cute gesture. The fries were good but not the best I've had, and the portion was relatively small for the price. The cheese was distributed unevenly - most of my pieces didn't have any truffle or cheese, and other times I felt like I just got a mouthful of cheese and truffle. I wished the timing was better so I could have tried their burgers too, because I passed by the next day (at a reasonable dinner time) to see it fairly crowded, and the food on everyone's tables looked delicious! read more

Still one of my most fave burger places (my fave in Prague so far). Service is always pleasant and welcoming. I always get the same yummy Black Truffle burger, so today I opted for the GPB Cheese Burger. Sounds simple enough right? But with Smoked Cheddar and Crème Fraiche with Roasted Garlic and Dijon Mustard, I got a nice flavor infusion added to what could have been a normal cheese burger! The thing with George's burgers is they each (well most of them) seem to have a unique aioli-type sauce to them that really add some zest to the burgers. Again, the bun was nicely plump, and still soft and fresh as ever (no squished buns here). This is the first time I went upstairs. I knew they had bathrooms upstairs, but didn't realize there is a whole, spacious second floor to the restaurant! As always, I enjoyed my meal and will def be back to visit. read more

When traveling, Priscilla and I prefer to stick with local cuisine or traditional fare. We feel like this gives us a better taste of the region, no pun intended. Even so, sometimes we just crave a good burger and fries. We encountered George Prime Burger while on a Prague culinary food walk. We didn't stop there, but our guide did mention it. We returned on our own several days later when the burger cravings set in. I ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger with fries and P ordered a Classic Burger with Cheddar cheese and sweet potato fries. I had a Pilsner and P enjoyed a glass of Chardonnay. The burgers were tasty, cooked perfectly and dressed with the right amount of condiments. I especially liked their choice of bun. The fries were crisp, hot and well seasoned. Overall, a very enjoyable visit. We'd suggest George Prime Burger to anyone looking to satisfy their burger & fries craving in Prague. read more

The burger: Unfortunately the bun was covering all other tastes, too thick and bready. The meat itself was tasty but it seemed small (maybe I am wrong). The fries: Peasant but I had much better. The truffle mayo is amazing though and the bbq also. The sauces are coming in single use plastic containers which make the whole experience feel cheaper and they are hard to be open with oiled hands from the burger. Plus not ecological. (I could understand for take-away only). The service: Very pleasant and friendly crew (the barman mostly), quick service. Other comments: Toothpicks in the bathroom would be appreciated. As it comes to burgers (and hot chocolate), i am very picky about these two. Well i can eat almost anything but in regards of going to have meal in restaurant, i am picky. First i have to say, the service is very good. The place is nice. Restrooms needs some revision. Now to get to the hamburgers themself. We ordered classic and California and fries. Fries were very yami, burgers very much on average level. I ate better burgers. The sauce , the bulk were ok but nothing that would pop out. That is the reason of 3 stars only. read more

The burgers are in all honesty 3/5 at best. And all other aspect of the restaurant are lacking.

We dined here last night, our first night in Prague, based on reviews and the fact that they served gluten-free buns and prime beef. What a treat! Our 2 female servers were awesome, full of personality and humor, and also made excellent recommendations. The burgers (black truffle burger for me, farmer burger for my husband) were huge and flavorful. The toppings were high quality and delicious paired with the juicy beef and amazing gluten-free buns, which were soft inside and flakey on the outside. We had the truffle fries and sweet potato fries as sides, which were great choice - the truffle fries were literally smothered in pieces of truffle, not just truffle oil, and the sweet fries had a unique garlicky aioli that was the perfect enhancement to the crispy sweetness. We also shared a carafe of house red wine, which was light and a little sweet and complemented the flavors of the burgers. We will definitely return before our trip is over to try out some of the other amazing-sounding burgers! read more

Skip the fries. Nothing special there. The burger was good but mostly because of the bun and toppings, I wasn't particularly impressed with the meat. That being said it was still pretty good. It's not the must have burger I was told it would be. They do have great local craft beer though. read more

I love this place. Very basic menu with quality ingredients. The vegan burger is very nice. We will be back

Amazing burgers!! Just sorry I couldn't make it here on a Friday to try the "Pay Day" burger.
