We've had George and his crew out to do tree trimming projects at our place several times. He's very knowledgeable and his crew is professional. They did great work. But it takes several tries to get him to return calls. He was always late or changing the schedule after it was made. Prices are reasonable and work is good, but it's a challenge to work with him. If you've got the patience and are willing to keep calling him for a couple of weeks, waiting for replies - he's your guy. Can't imagine how you run a business that way, especially with repeat customers. read more

Removed broken branches the winds blew into other trees for us in 2024. 2025 we lost the top of a beautiful Jeffrey Pine and they are removing the tree for us right now. Two days before Christmas. I had George Salinas come and give me a quote for cutting the limbs of my huge sycamore where they are over my neighbors house. The quote was fine even though he was a few hours late coming. He did call to let me know he was running late and I was understanding of it. He gave me the quote and said he could do the job Monday (yesterday) at 7:00 am. My neighbors were supposed to get new sod put in Monday but they moved it so George could do his work. We got up early, moved the cars and I moved a few work things around. 7:00 came and went and at about 8:30 George called to say that a trimmer had called in and they wouldn't be able to do the work until Maybe tomorrow. My thought was what if the trimmer called in tomorrow? He said he would try to work out some things and call me back at 11:00 to let me know if they could do the trimming Monday afternoon. But...you guessed it, he never called back. I get it that things happen but when you have a business, you should have a plan B. I would not recommend this company even though they were the low bid. read more

Horrible customer service and follow up. Removed our tree but never returned for follow up stump grinding and root removal. Several phone calls were made by me to arrange a date. He never followed up with me without me calling again. Finally on the date scheduled, they didn't show up and didn't call. Supposedly they had someone call in sick: but, I had to call to find this out. George told me he would call his stump grinder crew and have them come out still. 90 minutes later I called again and he said go ahead and have someone else come out and finish the job. read more

Called this place for some tree work. The lady set up 3 separate appointments, each of which were cancelled or a no show without contacting me. Then this George guy gets upset I won't contact him to make an additional appt. Starts having anger management issue with me, had to block him on my phone. I guess if he isn't in a bad mood some people are okay with him, but why take the gamble. There a lot of other tree companies around. Come to find out he has multiple websites in different places, different contact numbers. Looks like when people get fed up with him he moves onto another town. I'd avoid them. Very accommodating, was able to provide me with same day service. Had a palm tree and shrubs removed. Staff moved quickly and got it all taken care of cleaned up went around my entire yard with a leaf blower to make sure all palm tree shavings were cleaned up. We had this service out in early '22 to trim 2 oaks and a pecan tree on our property. The service was good enough that we called them back to trim back a pistache that had limbs that were on our roof. They did what they referred to as lifting the canopy - trimming the lower branches. I requested a quote and George called back within an hour and made an appointment for the next morning. He arrived on time, gave me a quote and had his crew at my house about 2-3 hours later. The did the work, even trimmed a lemon tree back from the side of the house. As they were working, my husband asked if they could remove some old firewood that was stacked behind a shed and they agreed to do it. I expected them to up the quote a bit for that, but they stuck to the original quote and didn't charge extra. They cleaned up all the debris and used their blower to clean up the surfaces. We couldn't tell anybody had even been in our yard. The larger trees will be up for some thinning this winter after the leaves fall, and I'll be glad to have them back to do that work. For the life of me I can't imagine why there are any bad reviews for this company, or even any lower than five stars. read more

This company was a good value on his quote but when we scheduled to book he would ask me to send him the quote that he gave us. Clearly disorganized. Non responsive to even text messages. I finally asked my husband to try and he got somewhere but here I am 30 minutes past the arrival time of his crew and he's not here. I used this company before (April 2020) and they did a great job. Called them back to trim a tree and it was a total difference experience. The day before the guy was supposed to arrive he called and said he was not going to be coming out the next day and didn't offer to reschedule. My parents called them about our really big/tall redwood tree that was rocking the ground a bit during this last storm. We were afraid it was going to come down at any time. The owner called us back the same day. He also first recommended trying to save the tree by thinning the branches down a bit. (And we REALLY appreciated that as we loved that tree!!) However, once we explained that the ground was moving underneath it, he agreed it needed to come down. He came the very next day to provide a quote and start the service!! It took a couple days (two shifts - one to cut it down and one for debris removal). But the men that did it were careful and fast! They also allowed us to save a few pieces of the tree (and moved them for us). The owner also stated they send the unwanted logs to someone who uses them to create things! Wonderful!! It is nice to know the tree is going to good use, even after being cut down. Thank you for a terrific and safe job!! I would also note they are licensed and insured. That is SO important when you are dealing with something this large that could do damage. You get what you pay for. Don't cheap out for a different unlicensed or uninsured person or business. We noticed one of the large oaks in our backyard had split down the center and starting to lean towards our neighbors. We called George at 1:30 and he evaluated the tree, was concerned as we were and returned that evening to remove most of the dangerous part that night in the dark. They removed the rest the next day. His crew were all professional and efficient, they completely cleaned all of the debris and left the area in great shape. Very unprofessional showed up 50 minutes late no call we had to call them. Ask to take down our brand new fence we let them. Drove up onto my lawn when I was quoted I was told that they would always use plywood when asked if they were going to put something down so they wouldn't ruin the grass they all drove away without saying anything had to call and see if they were coming back and they said no. I probably wouldn't have even been writing if they would have said hey we aren't going to help you because you asked us to put something down on your lawn as we drove up onto it and we're going to leave but they just drove away and didn't say anything to anyone and when we were called they wouldn't pick up our phone calls so we had to call the office to have them call us. When I was quoted I was told that they would be able to work around my fence and that they would always use plywood and never mess anything up the man who quoted me was very pleasant and made me feel like they would be a great company I was wrong so if you are okay with them messing up your lawn and taking your fence down go to this company read more

Unprofessional. I hired this company March 16, 2019. I paid them in full 4k+, a check, and they damaged the check, a month later they call and say that it would be mailed back to me, by my request. Well today May 16, 2019 still no check return, so I called George and he is demanding payment. i let George that I had NOT received the check, so I cancelled the check 5/15/19 and that there was a $ 35 cancellations fee, and he could come collect a cashiers check tomorrow minus the fee but he wants me to eat the cancellation fee. He even said I was taking advantage of the situation. I did what was required. i hired and I paid for my service. The careless handling of my currency has left This matter unresolved.
