My son loves hair cuts and this place does not disappoint. They styled my son's hair so nicely after cutting them. We can go to a more inexpensive places but so don't like lopsided haircuts most children salons do. I think it's better to spend alittle more money and do a good quality haircut. The salon is nice and clean. It's nicely set up and modern. They had a cute dinosaur print cloth to cover his clothes to not get dirty. The hairstylist took his time and double checked my sons head to make sure everything was perfect. The level of detail is amazing. They don't rush the haircut and make sure the parents are happy with the end result. My son enjoyed the haircut a lot and we will be back since it's so near our home. After trying 3 different barbers in Dacula and getting 3 bad haircuts, I finally tried George at George's salon. What a difference! Not only is George a great conversationalist, he is a true master barber and I received a haircut equal to what I had come to expect from my prior barber in NC. George takes his time and pays attention to every detail of the cut and his efforts show in the quality of the cut. I should also add that is a very neat and well organized shop with multiple chairs. From what I observed, all others in the shop were also very professional and detailed oriented. While you may pay a little more than other shops, you get more than you pay for. So glad to have found a barber/stylist I can trust to do a great job and not have to drive 500 miles to return to eastern NC just for a good cut. read more

I'm not sure what their prices really are but it seems like they were trying to get over on me. I typically pay about $20-25 for my undercut with design (just the back of my hair). I knew their prices were going to be a bit higher when my sons high top fade was $20 and they were only cutting around and not cutting the top portion of his head AT ALL! I was ok with that. When I went to get my haircut (the undercut) after it was finished George charged me $28 plus $15 for design and their was another fee for it being an undercut. Alex, the guy who cut my hair even said that was a bit pricey and took off the $15 for the design. I'm not understanding how an undercut is more than the price of a full haircut! I called today just to see how much they would charge to touch up my undercut and he said $28. My hair isn't even a full week old. read more

I've had a beard off and on for over 45 years. Never had a Barber cut or shape it. Decided to let it grow out a little bit longer. Figured I'd get it professionally shaped for the first time. Called George's and asked if they had Barber's that specialized in trimming and shaping beards. I was told yes so figured I'd give them a try. Walked in and several of the Barber's had beards so I figured I came to the wrong place. Walked out with the beard so butchered I'll need to cut it back down with a #2 or #3 attachment and start over. Went in with a mustache just below my lip line and full on top and walked out with an uneven mustache cut way above the lip and so uneven I had to cut part of it to try to match the other side. Confirmed my fears about Barber's touching my beard and mustache. Two regrets about this trip. First was going in, second was I actually tipped the guy when I paid. What was I thinking? read more

An appointment only barber shop. Okay...I made my appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes?! What is the point of an appt then. No one came over to apologize for the wait. I finally got fed up when the Barber we were "waiting" on stopped to get himself and the guy that was in his chair a water. Would have been nice to offer your waiting client a drink. If my time isn't valuable to you my business will be taken elsewhere. read more
