As a convert from an another religion,( (Hindu) I found it extremely difficult to fit in many churches. Alliance drawled lot of internationals, which put me at great ease. The people are genuine and down to earth. Now, it merged with Life Point Church and it is wonderful! The message is positive, life-affirming, grace based and people are very friendly. I did not encounter the fundamentalism, legalism, Charismatic frenzy and weirdness that I have encountered in many churches I attended. The music and worship is inspiring and ecstatic without being out of control. I felt connected to God and was at peace as I worshiped. Also, it is extremely difficult to find an evangelical church as someone who is progressive, as many evangelicals embrace conservatism. That does not seem to be an issue here and never was an issue. I love their "come as you are attitude", because that is what Jesus taught. I will defiantly attend again.

The members here are legit Christians. You walk in here and you are attacked by people greeting you and welcoming you. My first time here I was greeted by at least 2 dozen people. Crazy because the congregation here is small, around 90. I was Baptize here and I'm glad I was. A lot of churches these days are anything but a place of God and teachings of Jesus. This church is actually a church. At times I wish I never left. I met a lot of wonderful people here. If you are looking for a place to worship, you won't find many churches better in Louisville than this one.

Super nice and everyone smiling! A visit here is what it must have felt like to attend the church on the TV series: Little House on the Prairie! These country folks are the best of people! I've been to church's big and small and I must say, I prefer the smaller church of close knit people! Most big churches seem to be more focused on material things and operate like a business! Cardinal Hill is all about Jesus and his teachings! All are welcome and no one denied or turned away! Good work Cardinal Hill Baptist Church!
