We called and said we would not like see that provider again and to NEVER book with that person again. Instead they did and when we cancelled the appointment telling them the appointment was made in error because the booked with the same person (that they said they made a note on the file indicating our preferences), they tried to collect a no show fee for less that 24 notice and proceeded to try to send the $25 fee to collections. Even if some providers there are okay, a practice severely suffers with poor office and administrative staff. Even though options are limited in the area, stay away!

As a parent, that's such a relief when you're worried about your child. The doctors are knowledgeable, take the time to explain everything, and never make you feel rushed. Here is why this place is the best:…read more -They operate like a full-service emergency room and are federally required to be treated as in-network for all *eligible* visitors (must actually be an emergency visit). Their billing person confirmed this. Their website has a lot of info about the billing process as well. -They are flexible and will work with you to negotiate your dues to get the accounts closed out. I was stressing about the bills but their super nice billing lady helped us out. -Open 24/7. I looked at other options that were technically deemed in-network for my insurance plan and some were closed on Sunday. One of our visits was on Easter too. Why even bother with another ER when this place will bill in-network anyway? -Amazing nurses and doctors. Everyone is really nice and patient and takes great care of you. We've been there 3 times since November. Twice for my little guy (he was 1 during our first visit). Nurses and doctors were so nice and patient with him (and he definitely screamed a lot). -It's never crowded or full of sickly people. Not sure if that's a sign they don't have enough business though? PLEASE GO HERE SO THEY DON'T EVER SHUT DOWN. -Easy parking. -There's a cemetery next door which leaves a chance to make a morbid joke upon your departure.

I came to get my medications renewed and my pharmacy sent them to be ordered from the office. When I returned to the pharmacy they said they never got a reply. I had to see someone else and then they moved. I recently went on Yelp to find a new doctor and saw that Dr. Chikkala was still at the same place!?? WT? I left another message, again, no response! I drove over there today and only the nurse was there. I told her about all this and said she would have someone get back to me. So Dr. Chikkala's husband (who runs the front) Just now called me. He was very rude to me. He said that because it had been almost 2 years that she was no longer my doctor, (well of course she wasn't). I wanted to go back to see her. He wanted to go round and round about when he "said" he called me back a long time ago and it was ME that never responded. LOL really? I DID call, MANY MANY Times! No one ever got back to me. Very irresponsible for a doctor's office. So, I said I would like to get in to see her. Then he tells me that I have to find another doctor because she won't have any information from the last 2 years?? Well, they can get that information from the last group I was at. Specifically, we always see Miranda, who is a nurse practitioner and a complete joy. Talking with her is like catching up with a friend and she somehow seems to calm any anxiety I have without making me feel like a crazy person. Sandra, who is a front office staff member just spent 15 minutes on the phone with me, helping me to schedule multiple well checks as well as get immunization records for all three of my children. She made it so easy and was patient with all of my various requests. I'm not sure why there's negative reviews for limited appointment times. Each and every time I've called for a sick visit, I am nearly always gotten in that very day. Absolutely would recommend them.

I called to reschedule the appointment because I can't take both my girls in today, she's feeling very sick and it would be just me taking both in. They told me they would charge me today for the missed appointment. If I didn't want to be charged I needed to come in today. If I came in today, they would change the appointment to a sick visit in which case I would still need to be charged. I asked if they would charge no matter what today, and the front office person said "I guess". This is what is wrong with medical offices nowadays. It's a very caring and welcoming practice, and we've never had to deal with long wait times. All of the Pediatricians we've seen at RiverRidge have been incredibly attentive, caring, and patient. We typically see Dr. Patel who is so kind and compassionate but have had positive experience with all the Pediatricians when Dr. Patel is unavailable. They actually take their time, answer your questions, and never make you feel rushed. I always feel very well supported bringing my kids here. Their waiting room is also really inviting, with little toys that keep my kids entertained. I love that they give the kids stickers, lollipops, and little knickknacks when they leave. It's such a simple touch, but my kids always enjoy the little items especially if they are having a hard time or crying, it always seems to brighten their spirits. RiverRidge staff and nurses are also super amazing and play a very important role. They are extremely responsive by text and phone, also very kind and attentive and getting an appointment is very easy, on numerous occasions they have been able to accommodate us same day or next day. Overall, we've had a really seamless experience with River Ridge Pediatrics. Caring doctors, amazing nurses, friendly staff, great communication, and a welcoming environment for kids. I would definitely recommend them to families in the area!

Unable to see a child in pain and experts in bad behavior towards parents scheduled an appointment for 11:30 AM. It was entered in their system as 11:15, and I -- the parent who booked it -- never received a confirmation. We arrived three minutes past the grace period for a time we hadn't agreed to, and our sick toddler was refused care. My child was in visible pain with a worsening infection and was never assessed or even looked at. No other physician was offered, no referral, no urgent-care suggestion. The front desk and office manager spent the time arguing with us about the clock rather than showing any concern for the sick child in front of them. This wasn't a one-off. Getting a timely sick visit with the MD has consistently been difficult, despite the practice advertising same-day sick visits. Zero compassion. If you need a pediatrician who will actually see your child when they're sick, look elsewhere. We've moved our care.

However, I scheduled another after hours appointment for the same illness that keeps coming back and 10 minutes before my appointment starts they call to cancel my appointment saying I cannot be seen and will need to reschedule for an in hours appointment. They were unable to accommodate me even though I was feeling awful. I had even paid the $55 after hour fee already, which was a hassle to get a refund for. I think it's unacceptable to be treating patients this way who have been seen by the same office for years. This was also after many hours of back and forth conversation on the portal app, which got me no sense of help/relief.
