I visited your store last night specifically to purchase a wine that I could only find there. Unfortunately, I arrived a little late, as I was just getting out of work myself--two hours after closing my own job. After driving 30 minutes, knowing exactly what I wanted and where it was located, I found the doors locked. While I understand that the register may close at 8 PM, many liquor stores typically allow customers to enter a few minutes prior to closing if they know what they need. With several stores now adjusting their hours to close at 8 PM instead of 9 PM, I am trying to adapt to this change. I kindly suggest updating your hours sign to indicate that you close at 7:55 PM to prevent any future misunderstandings. Convenient liquor store close to wegmans. Some of the prices I found higher than other local wine stores in the area. Small, good service, and I found what I was looking for. I do wish there was a larger selection of Chardonnay wine. read more

Months ago my friend bought my fiancé and I a bottle of wine, Carnivor aged in Bourbon Barrels. It was absolutely amazing but supposedly only sold at this store. So the other day when my fiancé and I were in the area, we stopped in. We asked for some help and the worker tried to help us find it. She said her system said there was only one left but we checked several shelves and it wasn't there. So we were about to leave when my fiancé wanted to check the specialty bourbons. There on the display was Carnivor! We got the last bottle! It was the best day ever. The store was so well organized and the displays were fantastic. Great selections to chose from as well. My family has been coming here for ages. The prices are really fair and there is a good selection of bargain wines. It may not be as large as Marketview, but a lot of what they do carry is of good quality and variety. I also like the fact that it isn't as large as Marketview; it's a bit less intimidating and I find that I'm in and out a lot faster. read more

I started shopping at Georgetown about seven years ago when I moved out to this part of the world, mostly as a product of their proximity to the Wegmans I shop at. Over the years, it has become my favorite place to shop for wine. Adam is the man and is always good for a couple good wine recommendations. I find the experience to be a lot more personal here than at larger stores like Marketview or Century. read more

The employees are always friendly. I never have trouble finding the wine I want. The prices are very reasonable. I go here all the time!!

If I could give less than one star I would. I was witness to a completely inappropriate conversation tonight (1/20/18) by two employees about a probable customer. The middle of a store is not the place to berate someone. I won't be back. read more

Had a horrible experience when I brought back a bottle of wine that was corked. The asst. manager lectured me in front of other customers and employees about how I was wrong and that I didn't understand the type of wine or the vintage, among other things. We buy a case of good quality wine every month. From now on I'll shop elsewhere. read more

I stopped in Georgetown liquor while I was in town visiting family. I had stopped by many liquor stores that day that were not very helpful. I spoke with Mathias about a bottle of liquor I had difficulty finding. He was knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. Mathias took my name and number to contact me if he could find the bottle I was seeking. He contacted me a few weeks later to inform me it had come in. I was so pleased at the level of service. I will definitely stop in Georgetown Liquor each time I'm in Fairport! After my family who lives locally heard the story they have made this their first stop for any booze needs.
