At the same time I wasn't looking for gimmicks and up-sells. That's what I found at V's. Erica is a master cosmetologist and did a first-class job. I walked in at my appointment time and was in the chair immediately. Several folks strolled in without appointments and were seen within minutes. If you want to save a buck, don't really care about the experience, or have low standards for how you look when you walk out, there are literally hundreds of choices around here. If you want to go to a barber shop like a barber shop is meant to be, go to V's.

I never had anything like that before and then after that happened the bleach used for the highlights completely fried my hair and it would shed and my hair was dry and frizzy. All of my natural curls were gone. It took about a year before my hair returned to normal and got my curls back. I will never go back to a salon again. It's too expensive to have your hair done and it looked bad from the damage.

Throughout the appointment, she chopped unevenly, and kept looking away like she didn't know what to do next. By the time she finished, my hair looked nothing like what I asked for I had uneven layers, choppy ends, and she cut off the front of my hair to almost a blunt bob leaving me with a haircut my 8 year old brother would have done better. I felt uncomfortable and she couldn't comprehend what I said the entire time, and the lack of professionalism was obvious.I left beyond disappointed, frustrated, and wishing I had gone somewhere else. I felt a little intimidated by the atmosphere because it was so pleasant and welcoming. Upon entering I am greeted at the door by Beth, who has an awesome disposition. There was another person doing nails and she was just as vibrant. Beth gave an amazing massage, she spoke to me throughout the massage but was not overly chatty. Just enough to make me feel comfortable. Like I had been there 10 times before but knowing it was my first time I will definitely be back. I was not in a good way with my back issues. Beth focused on the problem areas and made it so that I could function in a normal capacity at least till I could get in to my pain doctor to further address the issue.
