I had my hair done about 3 times at this Salon. The first visit was great and then by the third…read morevisit I ended up with hives around my hairline and on both ears. The swelling and itching was pretty bad. I never had anything like that before and then after that happened the bleach used for the highlights completely fried my hair and it would shed and my hair was dry and frizzy. All of my natural curls were gone. It took about a year before my hair returned to normal and got my curls back. I will never go back to a salon again. It's too expensive to have your hair done and it looked bad from the damage.

As a 'somewhat' newcomer to the Augusta area, I was looking for a new salon. I researched options…read moreand chose Posh Salon in Evans. After the color - while my hair was wet I noticed the roots were a bit lighter than the rest. I told the stylist I didn't think the color was right. She said if you go home and then decide the color is wrong you can come back and we'll fix it for free - I want you to be happy with it etc.. After giving it a few days and washing/styling myself - It wasn't right. I called and told the stylist I liked the cut fine but the color wasn't quite right. It was going to be no problem and we made an appointment to fix it. An hour before my appointment the stylist called and said the owner had stated because I requested the demi-color (semi-permanent) and approved the hair swatch I would have to pay for any additional color. Hmmm? Something is wrong with this picture - isn't the stylist the expert and shouldn't they fix what's not right? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Not only did the owner make the stylist do the 'dirty work' and tell me - but she is running a business with the worst customer service practices I have ever seen. Please warn anyone you know NOT TO GO TO POSH SALON in Evans!!!! Or if they do - they should know how the salon treats their new clients.

Today I had one of the greatest hair experiences ever at then Hair and Body Salon in Augusta Georgia with the owner and hair stylist Zenda. From the time I sat down it was just peaceful she trimmed my hands to perfection and invited me to the shampoo bowl I told it was a little chilly for me. She pulled out a stylish heated blanket. I don't even know what happened after that I was in and out of sleep it was so tranquil it smells good it was clean and fresh and Airy she was kind of pleasant and attentive she washed my hair it was like yoga and meditation and a massage all at the same time. It was such a treat. I just melted into the shampoo bowl and chair. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Zenda.
