We were in a tight spot with a delicate claims suit and needed help immediately, but every lawyer…read morewe called was dragging their feet. Then we found Aaron Wentz. From the very first conversation, he treated us like real people, not just a paycheck. He took our case on personally and moved faster than anyone else in the area thought possible, completely lifting the weight off our shoulders. It genuinely felt like having a close friend who happens to be an incredible lawyer fighting in our corner. They took a chaotic situation and resolved it perfectly. We are so incredibly grateful for their fast action and support. Mr. Wentz has earned clients for life--we will absolutely be using his team for every single legal matter our business has moving forward.

The defendant declined to pay the fees presented immediately after trial so a hearing needed to be held. That first hearing got scheduled in June 2025. The day before this hearing my attorney advised me that the defendant's attorney had a medical emergency and needed to reschedule. I am a little suspect of the timing, but let's assume this delay was unavoidable. The second attempt for this hearing was scheduled for July 2025. The defendant's attorney did not show up for this hearing and apparently the cause was that Mr. Wentz did not file the correct paperwork. To his credit he told the judge it was his fault and he would get it corrected. The third attempt at this hearing finally occurred in August 2025. Let's not forget though that each delay adds cost to the client. Attorneys sending e-mails back and forth to each other can add up quickly at $250/hr. Even after the third attempt, Mr. Wentz had not calculated the attorney's cost correctly see my review on BBB.com. I live in Northern Alabama and found myself facing a VOP Warrant from one of the toughest judges in…read moreOkaloosa County Florida, The Honorable William F. Stone. I made one phone call and within minutes I was contacted by Sherry Ivey Jones. I hired her based upon a strong reputation from other clients testimonials as well as her timely response. My probation was re-instated and extended for a year. She filed a motion and I managed to report to the court without ever being arrested or spending a moment in jail. Her staff kept me up to date all along the way. Here is an email I just sent her: One week ago at this moment I sat in Judge Stone's courtroom with my immediate future hanging in the balance. The previous day, sitting in a hotel room with my mother, was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. Knowing the stress she was under made my reality a burden I never want to endure again. Looking back, the severity of the situation I was in, didn't fully sink in until after we met with you (Ms. Jones) Monday evening. Neither one of us ate much at all, nor slept for that matter, before getting back home. This past week we both have been going through a range of emotions. The best way I can describe the ordeal is that of an out of body experience. From the time you (Ms. Jones) walked into the courtroom it was as though you were escorted by protective angels. The calm, organized spirit of the entire proceeding was remarkable. Both myself and my Mom were struck with how professional and compassionate everyone was, even The Honorable Judge William F. Stone seemed to have my best interest in heart, as well as the prosecutor. You (Ms. Jones) mentioned at your office how you (Ms. Jones) sometimes are able to work a miracle, I think my case qualifies. Given my mental health issues, as well as the facts in the entire case, I was not deserving of jail or prison and fully agree that justice was done and I accept and appreciate a second chance to fulfill my probation requirements. Another aspect that is remarkable is how quickly everything was accomplished. I was out of court in less than an hour and departed the probation office at noon and was on my way back to Alabama. We arrived home around 6:30PM. Two days later I heard from Florida probation office instructing me to report to my local probation here on Tuesday, which I complied with yesterday. I am eternally grateful to you (Ms. Jones) for helping me; it is extremely beneficial to have representation from an attorney who obviously has the respect of the court officers. Thank you Paula (Ms. Jones' Assistant) as well for keeping me informed throughout this ordeal. Regards, Jeffrey Scott Hightower scottower@gmail.com
