We loved getting our family photos from Georgia. I was patiently waiting for Georgia to open up a Picture Day for Mother's Day and immediately snagged the first appointment when it became available. Again, she DELIVERED! Location pre-selected - it saved me so much time from having to figure that detail out. It ended up being a gloomy morning because it had just rained minutes before we arrived at our location. I was afraid of the cold. But we quickly warmed up jogging during some parts of the shoot and tossing our toddler in the air. I was also worried that my son was reluctant to smile as he was shy. Wow it's been 10+ years since we had our engagement photos done by Georgia?! Crazy. Well... we've been getting our family photos done with her when time permitted throughout the years but lagged on updating the review. Not much changed though...in our most recent mini session, she was punctual, efficient, great with the kids and got many great shots before the baby even had a chance to get cranky. I think the best part is that we get all the photos and don't have to pick. I'm usually the kind that can't decide and have in the past spend soooo much with other photographers when they charge an extra 80-90 per photo outside of the package. ON TIME put us at ease. had a 2hr block of time devoted to us (we didn't need that much time but the fact that i knew we had that much time REALLY helped me feel all relaxed -which makes for better pictures) i take a LOT of pictures with my kiddos, from cutesy themed ones to simple family portraits and candids...and i have to say i REALLY like how these came out. photography is pretty personal...and the mood and vibe can make or break a session (as i have discovered to my dismay!) the session we had with her was pleasant and pretty chill even though my kiddos were being total brats! the feeling i was left with was that i really liked her style. i have a short list of go to photographers, and i think i just added her to my list! =) i have worked with photographers who are "going thru something" and it shows in their work. i have worked with others who constantly reschedule you. i have worked with some photographers that cancel a shoot last minute or forgot... this one has her stuff together. her only focus was us. which is exactly how a photographer is supposed to be. all in all, pleasant, got me to relax pretty much immediately, and was able to give me exactly what i was looking for in my photo session. i was looking for casual family shots, and there are some with my husband and daughter which i LOVE and even one of me and my guy being silly and trying to be romantic. um...one thing me and hubby seriously never do is take pictures together prefessionally! We were lucky to have an opportunity to work with Georgia for an idea that popped in my head about taking some fancier-looking photos in Downtown Los Angeles for our upcoming wedding. We feel so lucky to have had Georgia as our engagement and wedding photographer. It was a surprise to have even met Georgia to begin with, but I'm so glad I did. She was hired as a secret, undercover, ninja photographer for my fiance's surprise proposal to me at Disney's California Adventure. Maybe because I was lost in the moment, but I didn't even notice anyone snapping shots anywhere with a big huge lens of hers. She played the ninja role quite well. A few days later, the surprise photo documentary was revealed to me and in awe and shock and wonder, I was sent to meet this mystery photographer. Came into her studio and she made me feel right at home. We got to talking and it was as if we'd known each other for years. It was so awesome to connect with someone so easily. The photos from the surprise proposal came out amazing and she captured his story so beautifully. It brought tears to everyone who saw the retelling of my fiance's surprise proposal in her photos. I am honestly a fan of Georgia Yeh, not only with her professional skill but her as a great person. No other photographer I've ever worked with has had the professionalism and great attitude along with incredibly adaptive talent as her. She is really sweet and easygoing to either have working for me or alongside me on projects. I'm a filmmaker and she has shot behind the scenes still photography on many of my films now. She makes such documentary-type subject matter look like such pieces of art that they compete or exceed the quality of images that we are filming! I have bought several groupon and living social vouchers from different photographers. By far Georgia Yeh is one of my favorite photographer. The 2 8X10 pictures we received and the 20 DVD pictures were a steal!! We were scheduled to take pics at the Park, but due to the rainy weather we opted for my home. Georgia showed up on time, very professional, and super patient. I have a rambunctious 4 year old and 8 month old triplet boys. She was able to take her time and managed taking beautiful traditional and candid shots that my husband and I absolutely love :) I was able to view the pictures online in a week and used them for my Christmas cards. I have had a yelp account for a while now but have never felt compelled to write a review until I came across Georgia Yeh Photography. Georgia shot my engagement photos with my fiance and we could not have been happier with her. My fiance and I are really are not the lovey dovey pda type and I am super spazzy and awkward so I was really really stressed out about taking these engagement photos. Georgia was very sweet to listen to all of my concerns and was quick to reassure me that she was going to let us set the tone and mood of the session. On the day of the shoot she was on time, dressed professionally and just had an air about her that instantly set my fiance and I at ease. She was completely focused on us and was very fun to work with. We felt so comfortable with her that after a while we even got a few lovey dovey pictures in.
