I found Trinh online through a Google search when I was trying to put together a surprise photoshoot with my grandma/Ba Noi and cousins. I reached out via email, and Trinh was not only really quick in replying, but also giving me information, letting me know how the photoshoot would proceed, and options for pricing. I had some questions about how people could be involved, whether it'd be easier to shoot onsite somewhere or in studio, and how to coordinate what to wear, but Trinh had easy and reassuring answers for everything. Payment was 50% at the time of booking, and the rest paid after the shoot. My family and I ended up opting for the studio photoshoot, but do be warned that it can be a little confusing to get there via Google Maps - it took me along the back entrance to the lot, but the studio itself is on the second floor and the entrance is facing the street. Might be useful to have some signage from the lot pointing in the right direction! The studio itself is well lit and comfortably laid out - there's a dressing room attached to the room we were shooting in, and the room had four different setups and chairs that we could alternate through and try posing with. Trinh was great at directing my family and grouping us together in different shots and poses, and reminding us of arms and angles as we tried our best to feel comfortable in front of a camera. She easily chatted with us and made us feel comfortable, and also was mindful of giving each of us small breaks from the camera so we wouldn't tire out (my grandma especially appreciated this). After the shoot, Trinh let me know that the photos would be ready in about two weeks. I was really pleasantly surprised by how quickly they came back (just a week later!) and eagerly shared with my cousins and grandma. The photos really came out beautifully, and she did a great job between posed (but still natural looking!) photos and more candid shots. It's made my family ask about more photoshoots in the future, and even my in-laws were asking if we should do something similar, too! It was a great way to capture some family photos, and I've already used the photos in a gift to my grandma. So happy that I did this maternity photoshoot with Trynh! I contacted her two weeks before my due date and she was able to squeeze me in for the following week. It's a good thing because I went into labor just a few days afterwards, and I feel I would have regretted not having any photos taken for keepsake. I'm very grateful she found time for me. We had our photoshoot in Laguna at the Montage Beach with our 11 month old. We did family portraits followed by a cake smash so it was an ambitious undertaking, especially for our daughter. Trynh was so accommodating to secure a date that worked for us (my husband and I have hectic schedules). She even went out of her way to get CUTE outfits for my daughter even though she only has newborn outfits. We emailed back and forth as we live in the Antelope Valley almost 2 hours away from her/location, but we wanted to make the drive as we love her work.
