She had me sorted quickly and sent me on my way. I am so grateful I met her when I did because a few years later I suffered great pain from a car accident and she was the best possible chiropractor for the job. Dr Shelley is so much more than a chiropractor. She is a teacher, educating her patients so they understand both the pain they're experiencing and the method behind her treatment. She even provides homework like a teacher, sending people away with exercises and stretches, empowering them to care for themselves. She emphasizes personal responsibility as a necessary component for long-term health and she equips her patients with the tools to succeed. This Nordic-style spa is completely focused on relaxation and disconnecting from the outside world. Electronic devices are not permitted, and guests are encouraged to keep conversations quiet. Discreet "Quiet" and "Shhh" signs on the glass doors help maintain the peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. The spa has four Canadian locations: two in Quebec (Mont-Tremblant and Old Montreal), one in Whistler, BC, and one at Blue Mountain, Ontario. Three of the locations are conveniently situated near ski resorts, making them perfect for a relaxing getaway after a day on the slopes. Something you can obviously do on your own time in your own yard even, but it was a fun experience. They have a no phone/food/drink policy (other than water) which I understand. They were very accommodating to my mother who is diabetic and needs to carry around her phone and snacks in a small back for medical reasons. The staff was friendly and in-forced the "silence" rule which was nice to be able to relax. There were tons of seating options like muskoka chairs, rockers, hammocks etc. they have an elevator which we used for accommodations. The food there was good and reasonably priced. We used everything including the cold plunges. And had a good time. The relaxation rooms and fire pits were nice. I didn't like that you have to pay for a robe rental. It's already $100 to go and then you gotta pay $15 for a robe rental if you want one. You get two towels, that def get wet right away and there really isn't a towel service. It drove us crazy that to get towels and drop robes you had to go up the stairs to do so? There should be a drop off in the locker room. There are massages available but other than that I wouldn't consider it to be a "spa" it also got really crowded really quickly in the locker room because of the layout. All in all we did have a good time, for the price I don't think kits worth it to go again. We did see an advert for $300 for a "Dec to April Mon-Thursday" pass for the thermal journey and that's a great deal! They have guided thermal journeys as well but we did a self one! No photo because no phones allowed :)

The hot towel compresses smelled of crème brûlée which was followed by agave nectar massage oil. Very nice! Then a half hour laying in the Ganban Volcanic Rock Studio listening to a relaxation meditation ... had it been longer, I would have fallen asleep!
