A decade ago, I was very much into Crossfit, but after a decade going by and the gym I went to…read moreclosing, I didn't think I would ever have the motivation I use to, to get back to it. But 510 changed that for me. The first day I walked in there I immediately knew this was where I was meant to get my health back. The community here is full of people you won't necessarily find just anywhere. It doesn't matter how fit you are or how fit the person next to you is, because we will be cheering you on, supporting you in a way you didn't think people did anymore. The coaches keep things fun, but also make sure you are being safe. They are hilarious and also extremely motivating. I really haven't found a gym like this since my old one closed, and to be honest, 510 is even better! I have injuries from a car accident years ago and the coaches are always ready to modify a workout for me. They are extremely knowledgeable at what they do. It doesn't matter what level you are at or if you are injured, I promise you that you won't regret stepping in those doors. It truly changed my life (physically, mentally and emotionally). Every time I go, it helps me believe in myself a little more and some of the best people I have met in my life, I met through Crossfit. Don't hesitate. Run here. You won't regret it.

I was very athletic up until my late 20's, but a series of injuries and too much time at the office had rendered me overweight, out of shape and suffering from chronic pain. I've currently been working with Rob for approximately four months and I have lost weight, drastically improved my strength and cardio status, and I have experienced more pain-free days than I had in the past year. Rob's athleticism is enhanced by his commitment to continuing education in sports medicine. He has an extensive understanding of the human body and biodynamics that has helped me to repair the dysfunction I was experiencing from old injuries and imbalances, while simultaneously getting me in stronger, better shape. Rob has a great variety of fitness equipment at his studio. Workouts are lively and fun (and hard, of course), and Rob does a great job of introducing new and dynamic exercises to keep the workouts from getting stale. In addition to the physical aspects of working with Rob, I also benefit from Rob helping me with goal-setting, diet, weight management and my routine outside of our sessions together. Not surprisingly, when you fix one area of your life, the others tend to follow. I know working with a trainer is more expensive than a low-end gym membership, but Rob's pricing is very reasonable for the quality instruction that you get. The way I look at it, I'm basically paying for guaranteed results.
