She used us to fight the case for two years, then at the end strong-armed us to get her way, especially me since I was spokesperson. She was quick tempered, denied us items we were entitled to, was shockingly unprofessional, immediately attacked me verbally at Zoom settlement conference when she arrived trying to make me look bad so she could get away with her bad intentions, would not let me speak to her to help our case, death of Our mother, not hers; kicked us offline so we weren't privy to what was being said regarding settlement of our case. Even her co-counsel gently tried to get her on the right track but to no avail, she was out of control and determined to have her way. After million dollar case settled for $300,000, I finally reviewed our Retainer Agreement closely, and the 30% they verbally represented law firm would receive turned out to be in contract 40%! Attorney immediately refused to correct this, so law firm still has extra $30,000 that belongs to us!!! We were taken advantage of since we were new to being litigants, totally trusted our lawyers.
