Up front and honest during a difficult time! Highly recommend. Was involved in an accident and had to get the vehicle repaired ASAP since we were moving from the area in 30 days. Called Gerber to talk about timeline to see if they could get repairs done in time. The rep I talked to was open and honest, looking out for my best interest. They would have gotten a lot of work and easy payout from an insurance company, but they were up front and honest that the 30 day timeline would be a tight one. He gave an candid assessment and a helpful recommendation that if he were in my shoes, he would hang onto the car and try to get it repaired once I had finished the move. I appreciated the candid assessment and the personal recommendation that was in my best interest during a frustrating time. Thank you! I absolutely only have good things to say about Gerber Collision. They are so helpful from getting you set up in a rental car (from Enterprise a block away) to returning it for you when your repairs are done. The customer service is awesome! I love how they give you updates every few days so you know what is going on. I have a Cadillac Escalade and the repairs to it are fabulous!!! I took my 2020 toyota tacoma to gerber in fairfield, ohio. This was because a car hit it on the left side rear bumper at about 70 to 80 mph. I was in the right lane going 65 mph. As a so called prefered provider by state farm. Which of course means the only qualifications is that they do the work cheaper. Nothing to do with ability. So while they had it. Thier words thier best tech had a truck bed on a dolly rollied it by my truck scratching the right side of the bed. I guess they did not had 2 minutes the move mine out of the way. So i had to take it back for the to paint the right side of the bed. After getting it back i noticed that it didn't seem to drive right. So i called the guy insisted that i bring it in and he would take it to the tire store about a block away and have the suspension and alignment checked. I offered to take it and wait on it. But, he insisted that they would take care of it. I dropped it off the next morning. They called that afternoon, told me it was ready. I go to pick it up. This woman said its driving good. 5 or 6 of people drove it. I'm wandering to myself why does it take 5 to 6 people to drive my new truck one block to the tire store. Then asked her how the alignment was, in her words "it's dead on". She didn't offer to give or even show me the print out from tire store, pretty good indication that she was not being truthful. I went ahead and drove it home. Didn't notice any improvement. When i got home i called the tire store asked if they worked on my truck. Gave them the plate number and last 8 digits of the vin number. The answer was no. So i called and let them know that they were not truthful. This people think that it is ok to lie. Damage a 50,000 dollar automobile which only has 4200 miles on it and treat people like they dumb. I would recommend nobody taking thier automobile there and when insurance companies claim thier a prefered provider not using them. I will not use another shop that they recommend.
