Chase, Cascadia's owner, explained why people think so highly of his work. It's because they don't…read morereally look at his work. They trust him when he says he's done what he said he would do, and that the quality is first rate. We trusted Chase, too, right to the very end. What we learned, though, is that he's an exceptionally good liar. He lied about pretty much everything - even the things he put in writing. For example, his contract with us specifies that he would use brushes, not just sprayers (this was an exterior painting project). Not only did he not use brushes, he had no intention of telling us. His crew chief exposed the depth of this lie when he told us that they never had any intention of brushing our house. He said that in his 10 or so years painting, a house like ours would never be brushed. There were other lies, too, like the one where he said they'd use two coats of paint (they used one). But the biggest lie was the last one, when he told us he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy, and that we had a two-year guarantee. He told us this the day we handed him the final payment in full. He didn't come back when he said he would to fix the things we found initially and reviewed with him, and he's not returning our calls. This was weeks ago. As the real Chase has been revealed, we've looked more closely at his work, and discovered that they did a terrible job of prep. There's peeling paint in countless places. I have photos if you'd like to see them. I've had a few painters inspect their workmanship and I think it's fair to say they're appalled. We've hired one of these painters and will pay him thousands to fix the problems that Chase created. I want you to know it gives me no joy to write this review. We'd much rather pay to have the house correctly prepped and painted and move on. But we think it would be irresponsible to not share our experience with you.

Quote was reasonable; comparable to the last company we used about 2-3 years ago. The windows definitely needed cleaning! He also worked with me on a scheduling request. Windows looked great, super clear, and he took the necessary time to ensure each was cleaned as well as screens and storms; sills were also wiped out. I got a few quotes from him on some possible paint jobs and crown molding since Chase also provides that. (He said he guarantees his work for two years.) Extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly guy who seems dedicated to a work ethic of excellence.

The job, which was supposed to take a day and a half ran to almost two weeks due to one delay after another (including multiple instances of not having the right materials delivered at the right time). At no point during this process did Mark communicate with us. We were always calling and texting; most of the time getting no response. The lack of customer service and communication was extreme and I would never use him again nor would I recommend him to anyone.

We met with several top deck builders to get estimates and design quotes. We were impressed with all of them, but Infinite Decks was the only one who was willing to figure out a design issue in order to bring it up to code. By far, this made them the best design. When it came to installation, I was continually impressed with the high quality materials and design. The new drilled pier post foundations are fantastic and they make my old footers look like childs play. Several times we had to make adjustments on the fly and they were always very accommodating and responsive, which is very important to me. They really did an awesome job all around and have even been responsive and helpful POST job finish, which is also refreshing to see, as some folks forget about you once the work is done. We absolutely love our new deck and expect that it will likely outlast us!

This is the second time I hired Northland Fence, this time for a 6 ft privacy vinyl fence. The…read morecompany offered an incredible special for early birds, which allowed us to make a huge fence. The project cost $15,000. The fence runs around our 3/4 acre, encompassing much of the property. PLAN Maria created a beautiful plan based on information provided online for our property (as well as on her private portal). This enabled us to get the project off the ground before I even purchased the house. We scheduled the first install date one day after my house closing. THE INSTALL The installation is done in three stages. I hired a surveyor to mark the property lines. Northland fence ordered the public utilities to be marked out, and I chose to hire Zone One to mark my irrigation and septic (which turned out to be very useful). Next, a full day was spent installing the posts (the day after I purchased the house). Aaron was the leader of a crew of two, and he and I reviewed the placement of the posts in relation to the original plan. We tweaked the plan, and Aaron was helpful, respectful and very patient as I revised things on the ground during the day. Thank you for that! We were able to respect our neighbor's privacy and increase the gate size to accommodate my UTV for snow-ploughing in winter. FINAL INSTALL The final installation was scheduled for 30 days after the post install, but Northland Fence were able to accommodate us early and install a week after. That was an incredible surprise, and our dogs were delighted! A crew of three arrived: Jesse, Chuck and Bobby, and the guys worked from around 9:00am to 5:00pm to install our huge fence. They began without disturbing me, as I was working. When I came out, they updated me that the fence will be completed in a day. They were quiet and respectful of the neighbors, parking on the side of the property. They did a walk around the fence several times during install to ensure that everything was done right, with a final walk-through the next morning when they came to finish off one small part. This gave me time to do a walk-through also. I didn't find anything wrong. The fence was perfect. DESIGN I'll add that I chose a two tone design, at no extra cost. It turned out gorgeous! WARRANTY 10 year warranty from Northland Fence, and they recommend that we contact them with any questions or problems before we check with our home owner's insurance, should any problem arise. RECOMMENDED.

Just be sure to read and understand the contract before signing. We didn't, and that's on us. The contract stated 2 to 4 week completion for our fence. In our case, Northland came out on Dec 10th and removed our old fencing, set some of the new posts, then left by noon. They returned on Dec 26th to finish the remaining posts. They returned on Jan 6th and installed the fence. All of the crews were polite and respectful. Our project was completed 3 weeks and 6 days after they began. Our problem was that our dog couldn't use the yard and the deer - the reason that we needed the fence - invaded and ate our new $$$ landscaping. There's a reason that a competitor advertises that they use the same crew for the entire process, and get it done in a day or two. If we could go back, we'd have made a different choice.
