Chase, Cascadia's owner, explained why people think so highly of his work. It's because they don't really look at his work. They trust him when he says he's done what he said he would do, and that the quality is first rate. We trusted Chase, too, right to the very end. What we learned, though, is that he's an exceptionally good liar. He lied about pretty much everything - even the things he put in writing. For example, his contract with us specifies that he would use brushes, not just sprayers (this was an exterior painting project). Not only did he not use brushes, he had no intention of telling us. His crew chief exposed the depth of this lie when he told us that they never had any intention of brushing our house. He said that in his 10 or so years painting, a house like ours would never be brushed. There were other lies, too, like the one where he said they'd use two coats of paint (they used one). But the biggest lie was the last one, when he told us he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy, and that we had a two-year guarantee. He told us this the day we handed him the final payment in full. He didn't come back when he said he would to fix the things we found initially and reviewed with him, and he's not returning our calls. This was weeks ago. As the real Chase has been revealed, we've looked more closely at his work, and discovered that they did a terrible job of prep. There's peeling paint in countless places. I have photos if you'd like to see them. I've had a few painters inspect their workmanship and I think it's fair to say they're appalled. We've hired one of these painters and will pay him thousands to fix the problems that Chase created. I want you to know it gives me no joy to write this review. We'd much rather pay to have the house correctly prepped and painted and move on. But we think it would be irresponsible to not share our experience with you. read more

The owner, Chase, was quick and responsive when I asked for a quote. I found the company via the YELP reviews and checked out his website. Quote was reasonable; comparable to the last company we used about 2-3 years ago. The windows definitely needed cleaning! He also worked with me on a scheduling request. Windows looked great, super clear, and he took the necessary time to ensure each was cleaned as well as screens and storms; sills were also wiped out. I got a few quotes from him on some possible paint jobs and crown molding since Chase also provides that. (He said he guarantees his work for two years.) We recently bought a house and needed some painting done. We got a few quotes and the price that Cascadia gave was comparable to the rest. However we really liked the professionalism and knowledge Chase had during his initial visit. So that's what sold us. The work was great and the communication was on point. We had big job. All the trim in our house and doors we needed painted white and all 3 levels painted. Chase was very meticulous and made sure everything was cleaned up and perfect. We are very happy with his work, professionalism and knowledge and are looking to hire him again very soon as we want to get some outside shutters painted. We were in need of windows being cleaned and had a request to get them done that week of our initial call. It was right around graduation time so schedules were full. Chase, the owner, was responsive, came and gave us a quote that day and worked his schedule to get us in on such short notice! We also were so pleased with his service, honesty and quality! He really did a great job so we hired him to do a pressure washing job for us as well. My husband is a perfectionist and he said "I only wish there would be more guys like Chase, he is such a hard worker, honest and friendly." We used Cascadia after seeing their glowing reviews on Yelp. We wanted windows washed and our deck pressure-washed but we got so much more! The owner (Chase) did all our windows, inside and out) without a smudge. He cleaned the huge mirror in the living room and most of our screens! He pressure washed our deck, porch and gutters. My mom passed away last November and I was tasked with taking care of all of her belongings and sell her condominium. I live a couple of thousand miles away so it presented some challenges for me. My dear Mother smoked pretty much her entire life up until the moment she passed away so her place that she had lived in for over 30 years had the smokers smell to it. And it had permeated the walls. Deep cleaning the upholstery, the walls, and every surface wouldn't even do the trick. So after spending nearly $1,000 trying to clean the smell out I was right back where I started. I couldn't sell the place. Everyone that viewed it their only comment was about the smell. I used the online Home Advisors service and put in a request to receive some quotes. After negotiating with two different companies and being very unhappy with the process, I received a bid from Chase at Cascadia. It was done very professionally and very clearly and he took the time to really understand what my ultimate goal was. I was not even able to be there one time during the entire process. Chase worked with my realtor for access Went over and gave me a thorough bid, he was timely, and his communication with the process was excellent. Beyond that, knowing what my ultimate goal was he gave me wonderful suggestions on ways to improve my property and at a price that couldn't be beat! He really did some miracles to turn this condominium into something anyone would be happy to move into. I was so pleased with the final product and very appreciative for all of his due diligence. He first had to seal every surface with some oil based paint of some kind to get rid of and seal in the smell from the smoke, the walls and ceilings to trim, everything. Then painted on a couple of coats of beautiful paint. Then he gel coated all of the Cabinetry, he painted the doors, and trim. I had another company put in new floors and then Chase came back and found someone to put in beautiful Granite counters in my kitchen and bathroom he subbed out plumbers to put in new faucets and Hardware, electricians to replace light fixtures Etc, a complete flip. We did have a minor miscommunication about an expensive custom shade that my mom had gotten made for this large picture window, that I had intended to keep but somehow it was taken away with the construction debris. I was pretty bummed about that but really he did such a good job it was a small price to pay as nothing ever goes perfectly and I was thousands of miles away. During the process he came across multiple challenges and he always stepped up to the plate and took care of it. I have so much respect. Don't waste your time! The owner, Chase cancelled the first appointment to meet with me about 30 minutes before the scheduled time. He didn't show for the second, and didn't answer my calls or emails. When I did get a hold of him the next day, I reluctantly gave him one more chance as he seemed to want the business. He was on time, looked over everything and said he would email me a proposal. That was over a month ago. I haven't heard from him since. read more
