If you aren't dedicated to this gym only your risk being thrown out and told to never return. The owner is someone who made doing jiu jitsu a hobby into something more. His teaching lacks depth and knowledge and for the price being charged it isn't worth it. I wish I had better things to say as I really looked forward to coming to this gym and participating in kickboxing, but since kickboxing was abruptly shutdown and is no longer being offered I'm gladly taking my money elsewhere to support a female run gym.

While the other kids were doing laps, Coach Joe didn't take no for an answer and he made Joey join them. He pushed him to work hard every single day and encouraged him to keep going, even when things are difficult. Coach Joe has been in my son's corner at tournaments and has always made time for him. His support and belief in him ment more than words can express. One of the biggest moments came a few months later when the waitress at his favorite restaurant heard his voice for the first time. She was shocked when he ordered his own food and drink without any help. He is finally starting to come out of his shell, and so much of that is thanks to his gym and his team. The people in this picture have helped him grow, pushed him to do better every day, and supported him through every tournament he has competed in.
