We planned a Mediterranean cruise a year in advance. I spoke to Gina and asked if we should use a…read moretravel agent or just handle it on our own. She was very persuasive saying for a local cruise we should do our own but for a Mediterranean cruise, a travel agent would be a good idea. She would make sure we had everything we needed through her. I told her that would be great, we would like to be in the position to have her handle all the logistics. We booked our cruise through her. After that we got no help from her with our flight arrangements, where to stay in Venice, excursions, even though we asked for help multiple times. She threw us a few bones but nothing helpful, ie: when I asked about excursions, I got a couple of pointers (to go to the orientation on the boat) but she basically just said to go through the cruise line. I met a number of people on the boat that had private tours that were much cheaper that they booked through their travel agents. BURN!! Since we were getting basically nothing from our travel agent we tried calling Norwegian for help and AAA. They said they couldn't help us because we went through a travel agent. We were stuck, they tried, but they couldn't help us and our agent honestly seemed uninterested. I asked her point blank about what to do in the different ports - tours, excursions, sites - she was clearly not interested in helping saying that what she liked to do might not be what I liked to do. Ultimately, we had a wonderful trip that we pretty much handled on our own. I'm sure there would have been a lot of great things to see (according to our fellow cruisers about their private tours) but all in all we had fun. I won't be using McCormick again.

Tommie claimed that she never received the refund, while the airlines and everyone else said they had already refunded her. She kept the money and lied every time we called her. We have notified the authorities, the BBB and are filing a lawsuit. Do not use this con artist thief.
