O.K. I previously reviewed the pizza at a Sheetz. So, to be fair, I decided to try a new pizza now offered at GetGo. For a limited time they are offering a $2.99 pizza when using the Giant Eagle Advantage Card. I was hungry one evening so, as they appeared in the ad to be small, single-serve types, I ordered one cheese (regularly $3.49) and one pepperoni (regularly $3.99). You use a touchscreen to order, pay at the register using the printed receipt, then wait a few minutes for the product to be made. I've got to say, for quicky-type, convenience store food, I was impressed. No, it won't rival the classic locations in the area, but it was a darn sight better than more than a few that I've tried. First, each pie measured about 7 1/2 to eight inches in diameter. The edge crust was from 5/8 of an inch to one inch. And the crust was not, I repeat: NOT, so paper thin as to come out of the box like an overcooked piece of cardboard. And it had texture to it. And it tasted like pizza crust should taste. I suspect the crusts come already made and baked, and they just get the sauce, cheese and toppings added so it can be quick-baked or microwaved until everything is hot. But it worked! The sauce was plentiful and good. Not just painted on with a brush, but more like it was ladled on. Cheese looked like real cheese. Tasted like real cheese. Acted like real cheese. And they didn't skimp. The pepperoni pizza was supposed to come with eight slices of pepperoni, according to the one pictured on the ordering screen. And it seemed to. In reality, the pepperoni was sliced very thin and three slices were double stacked, so I received 11 slices in all! And with pepperoni it's all about the taste. And they had taste. I had one complaint. They did not cut the pizza. So, either take it home and cut it yourself or pick up the eight inch disk and start chomping. I would suggest to GetGo they cut it in four or six slices so it can be shared. Overall. I was more than satisfied with the GetGo mini-pizza. One was more than I could eat in one sitting. I would recommend this pizza when you are hungry and need something quick. Skip those $5.00 ready-made offerings and get something here. I give it three stars because it is A-OK and I placed it on my list ahead of a number of better know places. read more

Careful folks. A lady frequents this station. She had her car at the pump; (a rear one on one of the islands). As I was pulling around her car to the pump ahead she busted out of her car, holding a child, and busting full force head down into traffic (she said it wasn't traffic but a gas station). She was ranting a raving about how I almost hit her child. As I was finishing off the fill II reminded her to look first and take her time. That set her off more. The inside of the store appears to run efficiently enough, However the receipt paper at the pump is constantly empty on the diesel pumps. The company I work for does roughly $1000.00 a week in diesel fuel purchases from this location only to have to fight the lines just for a receipt. Almost seems strategic in order to get more people inside of the store and as a result encouraging further purchases. Very aggravating read more

Their food department isn't terrible but the service is. Let me first start off by saying if you want to wait you are fine. The short skinny white guy that always holds his hands up like he's a scrubbed in surgeon? Expect a good 20 minutes when he is there. Honestly the slowest moving person I've ever seen working with food. Then there was my experience this morning. Late for work because of the younger black guy that they had working food today. I ordered two chili dogs and a side of the pizza ravioli. He drops the ravioli into a fire that is still flashing low temperature... After waiting for the ravioli he tells me that oops he only dropped four, am I cool with that or would I like the other two that finish the order out. I wait for the other two ravioli and leave trying to get to my job on time. I get there to find out that he only gave me one of my two hot dogs. This isn't uncommon. The tall guy, Nate I believe his name is, is very good. The order is always accurate and he's always quick at putting it together. The other shorter girl with very short dark hair is pretty decent as well. If you see these other two, turn away quickly. I love that I can use my giant eagle card on snacks in a gas station. This is my favorite place to order a fresh salad. Loaded with veggies and protein..I've never seen a brown leaf. The fruit is ALWAYS fresh and a large variety. If you're a health nut this gas station is a good place to stop for quick dinner or lunch. The line is never long and there's always two people working the front. Always someone stocking the coffee cups, cleaning the coffee station, and asking if you need help.
