NOW with new owner/management, I see this place is never clean, even got very sick here in the spring (actually hospitalized because it more severely impacts me as someone who has chronic health issues) because the place is a petri dish. Let's talk about that for a moment. They set me up with a trainer that kept pushing dogma at me that if I just eat right and workout then I won't have to be on the medications I need for the rest of my life (or I die). Can you imagine if someone were so naive as to believe this guy- really harm could be done! Even so, they hiked up the cost for everyone so it is now a whopping money grab for $48 that this place does NOT justify. The cost of training is overpriced for the 30 minutes it offers, management will give you a never ending runaround on everything. Even when I cancelled my training, I still got charged almost 400 dollars again the following month, and got the runaround (and manager attitude) to get that money back in my account. The cherry on top is as I'm getting the runaround yet again just to cancel my membership because I am just through with this bad business, I am told that I have to be charged an additional month because they require 30 days notice. And though I've tried to cancel since Thursday, I am told that they cannot move it forward until Monday when a manager is back. I seriously hope this gym burns to the ground. It may be the only way to kill all the bacterial growth anyway. And yes, I hope they see this and it impacts their business since I must earn the satisfaction of spending another unwanted $48 on this place SOMEHOW. Personally I enjoy 3G classes because less treadmill time (I loathe running). The instructors are super kind and helpful. My first class, I came in a little early before class started and they went through all of the stations with me, showing me what would be done in class that day. I like going to classes like Orangetheory because it gets me to actually run, since normally I am totally fine with skipping cardio even though I would like to incorporate more cardio in my workouts.

From day one, the people at FitWorx have been super friendly and supportive from the get-go. Everyone makes sure that you feel comfortable with all of the equipment and the process. I go there three times per week and every time I am there I see the staff talking to the patrons like they are old friends. I'm new, and already the greet me by name. The space is small. Not built like your muscle head gyms. There are strength training circuits and cardio equipment. Everything is clean and very well maintained. It gets busy, never overcrowded; I've never had trouble getting the machine I want. Anytime you want to do a circuit, you schedule your time. This helps keep me accountable. The trainers work with you in the beginning one on one, but are always there making sure you are doing well. Client by client they help you keep on track by increasing your weights, keeping your workout fresh. Then they modify their machine order from time to time to be sure that your body doesn't get bored with the same old schedule. I have only been a member for two weeks now, but I am the happiest I have ever been in a workout/exercise setting. I'm confident that their program will work for me!

They broke down each step and went over anything that someone was having a problem with. After completing the classes I had the confidence to start a "real" class. This place is a perfect fit for someone who is looking to be active and have fun in a truly no judgment zone. The people are of mixed sizes, ages, and experience levels. The instructors encourage you to do what you can and to modify steps if you need to. I have only taken classes from the instructor who did the beginner class (Kate). She is a great instructor! Eventually after taking more classes with her and building up more confidence I hope to branch out and take other classes. This has been a great experience! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who like me who is trying to lose weight and get more active but may be intimidated to get into a class.

Tried to add a different card cause mine on file was compromised and was told I had to buy something In order to add card. She told me some of her employees don't have that access and that is how some of them were trained will others have the access to put in new cards without buying anything. I was never told that I should wait till the next day and talk to someone that could do it without buying something from the store. Also got charge for a class that was cancelled buy the instructor. not once but twice in two different cards. And was told basically my fault and with an attitude. Will never go back and just check your bank statements.

I told myself once I had the time to commit, I'd go back. When I went back , I found out of their prices. The website says it's only $29 to start and $49 two months after membership start date for the annual fee. That didn't sound to bad. In actuality, the fees are $150 a month and $49 two months later for the annual fee. I'd written basically the same review and was messaged by one of their employees asking me to take down the review because it was " hurtful and inaccurate". So I did remove it because maybe my info was wrong and I'm not out here trying to hurt anyone's hustle. My bad, But then I called just to be clear and asked some questions.
