Prices are very affordable. The bad & ugly: I almost walked out because the place was petty bad. A pile of dirty towels was on the floor, the rug looked like it wasn't vacuumed in a long time. Nothing neat or tidy. I did not see how they cleaned the tubs (no liners) and was afraid to ask if the instruments were cleaned. Conclusion: I'm hesitant to recommed Get Nailed because of the way it looks. But, I did get a great pedicure. The shop really needs to, literally, clean up their act. Get Nailed is my wife's typical pedicure spot. She loves the massage chairs here and appreciates the value. She has never had any complaints about the service or quality. I stopped here today to pick up a gift certificate for a Christmas present. The staff were very friendly and got a gift certificate rung up quickly. The inside is small but decorated well. The vibe is similar to many nail salons. There was a heavy smell that is similar to many nail salons I've been in. I've never been quite sure what the smell is. On our first visit to get nailed, they ran our card twice because it wasn't cooperating. As you may have guessed, we were double charged and they couldn't figure out how to reverse it. Happy to say the next day the boss figured it out and we were credited. Stuff happens. lol. Every trip after that has been care free and a positive. There are two big reasons we like to come here. They get you in quick. If you make an appointment and show up anywhere near that time, you get in. These folks don't give you that "come back in 30 minutes, we're running behind" jazz. It's also location friendly for us. Inside Carson mall with Schatt's, Thai Thai, Bobby Page's and Bella Vita. We usually hit the Dutch on the way out. The ladies are nice. I have to confess, I'm losing my hearing which means that half the time I don't understand what they're saying to me. I just nod and smile a lot. My wife understands, but her constantly repeating what they say gets annoying and appears rude. But I digress, the artists here are great. The cost is decent. The facility is clean. The staff are talented and friendly. To me, mani/pedi's are all pretty equal. You'd have to pay a lot more money to get better quality. Waited about 10 minutes before I was seated, then another 10 minutes before someone turned the water on to soak my feet. Then everyone walked away. When I asked when someone would assist me, she said that when the fingernail tech is done with her customer, she will be with me. I leaned over to see that she had just started working on someone. They did not have anyone available when I walked in, as they stated on the phone. I could tell I was going to sit there for 30 more minutes before I could get service. I simply pulled my feet out of the water and walked out. When someone calls and makes an appointment, I expect service to be immediate. I really like this place. My mom and I went for pedicures. They said it was going to be a 30 min wait, which was fine because I had never been in the Carson Mall before. Tons of unique shops and a few restaurants. We were prob half way down the mall in the back of the store and the lady really came and found us to tell us they were ready. We only had to wait about ten min. We got gel pedicures and it was only 32 dollars each. She gave me a really amazing massage and my legs were so soft all day. All the employees were so nice. She got the mani/pedi with gel. Nothing was particularly special about it all. The staff was nice enough, but busy. The office itself is dated and could use a facelift (I'd think this could be done for minimal cost). The chairs were a little on the old side and had a few cosmetic and mechanical issues.
