Vibe was pretty typical for a nail salon. I walked in and they were able to take me after 15/20 minutes, which was pretty quick! They said they will take walk ins when they can, but prefer appointments. Joshua did an amazing job on my pedicure, removing several ingrown toe nails with NO pain. I have never had that before it was amazing! They seem like they keep thing pretty clean and I got the a deluxe pedicure for $45 and gel polish for an additional $15. A luxury that I would go again for! read more

I called for a last minute pedicure. At first they said they didn't have anything until Saturday. They ended up taking me later the same day! I got one of the best pedicures I've ever had. An older gentleman executed my service exceeding my expectations. I was relieved to have had him AFTER he finished with one other customer. She was crass and real snobby the whole time while he was doing her service. He didn't let that effect his work or mood to me. I would definitely go back and see him again! Great atmosphere. If you don't have time to wait at least 20 up to 30 minutes after you arrive for your appointment time, then this is NOT the place for you. Of course after a few minutes they sit you in a pedi chair or at a mani table, but, you're still waiting an additional 10 minutes. They obviously over-book and take walk-in's. They are always busy and crowded. However, they are the sweetest people who own the salon and all staff are always helpful. I've NEVER had a bad manicure or pedicure. If you have a mani and pedi scheduled for the same time/day, they will sit you in the pedi chair, while one does your pedi and another does your nails. This isn't relaxing to me, so I schedule one or the other on different days. That's because I'm retired and have the time. So, there are something's that I personally don't like about Cozy Nails, and the waiting for over 20 minutes when I arrive for my appointment is one of them. Last time I didn't have my phone, so, Have your phone with you, it makes time go by faster. read more

Went to finally get my nails done in the first time in forever and the Cozy Nail Spa was perfect! Everyone was so nice and gave me their honest recommendations while making decisions based on my inspo. Total was $127 which was not bad at all. Loved the pampering on the pedicure. I really like to do my own nails, both mani / pedi but will treat myself once a year or so at a salon. Found Cozy nail on Yelp and super happy with them. I made an appointment by phone. The lady who answered the as super friendly. I came in at 1:30pm on a Saturday. There was a little wait but not bad. William did my pedi. He was really nice and explained the different pedi's they cover. Prices range from $35-60. All pedi's include massaging from the knee down. I selected the basic since I didn't care for the sugar scrub of masks. The massage was a little light but he did an excellent job on the pedi. My toes were trimmed and painted just the way I like. The way he was applying the polish did not look normal to me in the moment but I trusted the process but once I left and got in my car to drive the 3 hours back to where I live I noticed how globby and bad the application is. read more

It took me a while to find my fave nail shop in Carson city, and I can't recommend Cozy Nail enough! All the techs are very nice and friendly, and do a great job and have amazing attention to detail. The nails always last so long and never end up lifting after a couple of weeks. This last time I went in I called in the morning for a fill and said I wouldn't do nail art, but when I got there and had changed my mind she still fit me in! I showed her a picture of the snowflake and she created the middle nail all on her own! It's perfect for the holidays. Thank you Cozy Nail, and I'll see you next time! read more

10/17/2022: Monday morning, I contacted Cozy Nail Spa's phone number but, received an answering machine which I must leave a message; however, I hung up before leaving a message. The Manicurist returned my phone call a few minutes later scheduling an appointment for the evening at 6:30 PM. Weeks before contacting Cozy Nail Spa, I knew I couldn't apply nail polish due to in a couple of weeks, I'll be hospitalized for a fourth time~waaaaah. Therefore, I'm humbly grateful William, Cozy Nail Spa Owner, performed an excellent yet, basic manicure and pedicure because he understood with compassion the surgery procedure I must undergo sans nail polish. William's thoroughness performing a basic manicure and pedicure comprises insuring both my hands and feet were completely sterilized before proceeding to the next step: The following procedures entails closely eliminating all dense, unwanted cuticles, insuring there are no defective pits with all my nails, and more importantly, smoothing all rough, uneven nail edges with his Dremel, micro-sanding tool. Reiterating, I'm humbly grateful William performed a sterile, hospital approved manicure and pedicure! read more

I will never be returning here. The service was okay until the end. I asked for a deluxe pedicure (scrub, massage, hot towel). I went in with two of my friends and was talking to them throughout the visit. So it's okay that my pedicure guy didn't really talk much. I'm good with that. As he was working he told me "I'll massage you after the paint." That was fine by me. As the paint was curing, he stepped to the next chair over to finish another girl's pedi. He NEVER came back to massage and I NEVER received my hot towel. After finishing the paint, he rolls my pants back down and says "all done." So when it came time to pay, I told them I wasn't going to pay for the deluxe when I never received 2 or the 3 services. The guy calls the owner over ( the owner is the one that did my pedi). He told me I was lying and that I was too busy talking to my friends to realize that he had put a scalding hot towel on my legs or that he had massaged them. As I insisted he check the cameras, and as my friends confirmed I was not losing my mind and that I did NOT in fact receive these services, he told me that's okay, he's the owner, and "God will make sure I pay for lying". I continued to tell him that I wasn't trying to scam him but that he truly forgot to finish the service. He continued to tell me that's okay. God will fix it for him. In the end, he charged me for the classic pedi, God will take care of me lying, $15 for the gel polish, and I did not tip him. I will NEVER ever be going back, but will happily take my money to an honest salon. read more

I had my first dip nail manicure in Sacramento and I wasn't thrilled. My nails looked like I had COPD - clubbed. It lasted 2.5 weeks and the sides started to lift. My husband and I have been coming here for about 6 months now, and every time we come the service gets better and better! I asked my Husband what he wanted for "Fur"thers Day and he said "a pedicure at Cozy!" Called, made an appointment and again... service is top notch. Everyone who has given us pedicures takes time, and has great attention to detail! But I do have to say, Jose has been the best so far! I'm beyond pleased with my gel nails after 1 week of wear and tear. I'm not easy on my hands and nails at all. My nails are all shaped the same and the same length! There is no chipping or lifting and the polish/gel is still shiny. This is the first time that I didn't have a jagged edge on the side of my nails to file off. I'm beyond pleased and though it has taken 5 years, I've finally found a nail salon I'm confident with their product and service. Ran over 30 minutes late, did not remove all the callouses since he was rushing because he was running late, placed a towel over my thighs because I was wearing shorts, & made a comment about the callouses he removed from my feet while holding the pumice up for everyone to see (he literally waved it around in the air). I was in shock & disbelief. I will NOT be going back. I'll take a cheapie pedicure at one of the places in town before I pay to have someone attempt to shame me for my thighs showing & having callouses on my feet! read more

Finally a good nail salon in Carson but I asked for the same color nail polish on my nails as my toes and I got 2 different colors. Nails turned out cotton candy pink! The response from the tech was "sorry". Please don't make these mistakes with your customers and if you do, please offer to fix it for free! We had an appointment for two pedicures, but weren't seated in our chairs until about 15 minutes after. The chairs seemed a bit worn out. The leather has seen better days, and the massage feature was too aggressive for me, no matter which setting I used. It felt like rocks being rubbed on my back. The pedicure itself was fine, and my wife says it stands up to many she's had at other nail places. Compared to places I remember visiting with my mom as a kid/teen, it has a less harsh nail chemical smell, and I enjoyed the relaxing environment. The technicians spoke to each other very quietly. I always remember loud talking and yelling across the room at nail salons when I was young. Overall, I don't have much to compare it to, but Diamond Nails offered a positive pedicure experience, and I would return.

The area is clean and has good ventilation which is important with so many processes going on. The waiting room is comfortable and they have a number of products on hand if you're in the market. Skylar has been cutting my hair for a decade! She's done everything: from chopping all my hair off, to bleaching, to fashion colors, to dying my hair, and even doing an up do for my wedding! She's so upbeat and positive and is a joy to spend time with. She's a professional and her pricing is very reasonable.
