There is art all over the place giving those who come in loads of ideas on what sort of tattoo to get if you have no idea what to get. The staff are all really chatty and make anyone who walk in feel like they belong. Chat is open to anyone listening and it's fun to chime in with things to add to conversation. My guy said where he was getting his tattoo done was quite chilly as well, but they had space heaters around to help keep him warm. I found out about this shop and Charlotte through a friend who is currently getting a big piece done and was very impressed with her work. I don't use that language lightly, folks... Thankfully, Screamin' Skull in Lanark advised me superbly. I wanted to get something tattooed round what I had, but my tattooist looked at it and where it was placed (off centre of my arm) and advised a cover up instead. I gave him 3 or 4 photos and a rough sketch of an idea I had to incorporate the old tattoo, and left it in his capable hands. I returned a week later to see the final draft, and was utterly blown away. His design was incredible, and included some negative space work which I'd never thought of to distract from where the covered part was. I paid the equivalent of 2 hours of custom work, but thanks to having to leave the first sitting because of bus times and school closing times, he was fine with me coming back and going slightly over time. I probably got double what I paid, and would happily have paid more (I tried to give him a bit extra, but he declined!) for what I got. The work was simply incredible. Quick, accurate, and extremely artful, it went above and beyond what I expected and hoped for. I've spoken to 2 or 3 friends who have several tattoos and they agree with me that this is excellent work, so it's not just post ink bliss, Honestly, if you're anywhere near the area and thinking of getting something done, I would not hesitate to recommend Screamin' Skull. I hadn't planned on it... but I'll be back for more, I think. I has the bug now!

I really wanted a new tattoo & my partner offered to check it out for me & ask about how to get an appointment & ask about their price list. He came back saying that a lady he spoke to gave me an appointment for the 12th November 2025. I saved the money, & went in on the 12th. I finally got the vampire bite marks that I'd wanted since I was 16 years old & 18 years old, but was put off from getting. The staff are friendly, the environment is welcoming & I felt at ease. The prices are perfectly reasonable & I like that they take appointments. I was given clear aftercare instructions & that was really helpful as some of the places where I've gotten previous tattoos hadn't made the aftercare instructions very clear at all. I cannot recommend Relatively Painless enough. I love the location as well, it's not far from Ocean Terminal, which is perfect if you're doing a bit of shopping before or after or if the person accompanying you needs something to do while waiting for your appointment to be finished. If Relatively Painless would be happy to have me back, I'd love to go back whenever I wanted a new tattoo. I completely trust the staff & felt so at ease.
