They have an excellent curated selection of wines and liquors in a welcoming and warm environment. What truly inspired this review was a wine tasting of Bordeaux whites that they were offering today. Our host, Christophe, was a red-haired man in a newscap, and plaid shirt who welcomed us in French and in English with a smile. He explained more about wine production, techniques, and characteristics of wine standing in the foyer than I learned on a €20 chateau tour the day before. I have tried a LOT of wine on this trip and the progression of simple to complex on this tasting made wine drinking so accessible, even for novice tourists. If you're like me, an American abroad, I first came to Yelp for suggestions and could not find much. This bread crumb is for any other fellow tourists looking for an affordable introduction to French wine and a true learning experience. Go!

As a result we got a lot of personalized attention and a lot of tasting. She was incredibly hospitable and answered many questions and offered generous pours. We sought this place out during our stay in Aix-en-Provence and thanks to GPS we were able to find it. Their wines are outstanding due to the terroir being volcanic soil, the highest altitude in Provence, and the wide range of grapes that thrive here. They aren't widely distributed and sell most of their production to restaurants and fine wine purveyors so you're not likely to find their wines no matter how hard you search. But wow, are they spectacular! This place was a total surprise and one of the best we sampled (and purchased) in nearly 2 weeks in Provence. Highly recommended.

We bought a bottle of the rose - Cuvee Prestige 2021 (we were in the land of the roses, after all!) and had it with the food we brought along to have a picnic on their beautiful property. They do not have any food for purchase. The rose was delicious. The view all around is breathtaking. It was very quiet and peaceful. You can stay as long as you want. A must stop if you are driving from Aix En Provence to Nice.

The wines are all excellent, as is the olive oil - we ended up buying more than we planned, but could not pass up the opportunity to take these wines home to enjoy in the states. When we asked for a lunch recommendation, MaryLou even assisted us by calling local restaurants to make a reservation (at a very nice restaurant).

Inside the tasting room, the decor is less refined. It appears to have been very recently remodeled, and practically the entire contents are from Ikea. I appreciate that they've aimed for something different with the modern interior, but it does look a bit cheap. The wines here were among the poorest I tasted on my trip... which is not to say they were bad! The standards are high in this region. At approx 10-15 Euro per bottle, they are a decent value. Also, the staff at this winery were so nice and helpful. I felt they made an effort to try to find something we would like, and unlike most of the other wineries I've visited in this area, they did not have a showroom full of tchotchkes to sell tourists.

A special thanks to Monsieur Anthoine for his kindness and the time he took to thoroughly answer all our questions--his passion truly elevated the experience. Only 20 minute drive from city center Aix through windy roads of lush green hills and trees. So beautiful thru the driveway and into underground parking. They have a high end restaurant or an out door cafe which is nice after tasting wines or wandering thru the vineyard to see the many sculptures. (There is a fee to view the sculptures) Highly recommend a visit!
