Given that I have ongoing neck and shoulder issues that need attention, Starlet Lee came highly recommended in her absence. My massage with Starlett Lee was awesome! She paid special attention to my problem areas, was not afraid to use heavier pressure when needed and included extra stretches that had a direct effect on my range of motion. I was originally scheduled for one hour but midway through I asked to extend it another 30 minutes as it was going so well. I left feeling renewed and more flexiible than when I came in. The reflexology on my feet was great. I took advantage of the 60 minute combo: 40 minutes massage and 20 minutes reflexology. My only complaint was that while lying on my back during reflexology, I really could have used a pillow to prop my back up. It's hard if you're not used to lying flat and the older I get the trickier that is for long periods of time.

After I asked for a change in pressure, Jerrell consistently applied the deeper desired force. It is located in the heart of the University district. I went up some stairs and was greeted by the therapists. She directed to the masage table. There are varuos massages and I settled on the deep tissue sports massage. The massage and conversation were great. She did a great job. I found out that I had used her once before at another location. She mentioned that they did athletes there also. She does a great job. I would go back but it is a little further than I thought. Maybe when I am in the area I will definitely do it.

Second worse massage experience ever... in my life…read more Where to start.. I arrived and was immediately showed to a room. No instructions no questions anything. I poked my head out to ask where the blanket was and she told me to use the towel on the bed. Towel was the size of a basic bath towel.... Not even a large beach towel. Ok I guess. Massage starts and right before she snaps my back in half I stop her to ask her what kind of massage she was giving me (I specifically asked for Swedish when making my appointment) she said it was deep tissue. I told her that was what I wanted so she changes her technique. Meanwhile my toes are frozen because.... Well.. it's winter time, I'm not on a warming bed, and I'm not under a blanket... I'm under a damn towel. The rooms are not very inviting or relaxing and they aren't real rooms so you can hear literally everything throughout their shop (walls don't go to the ceiling). The lovely spa music is interrupted pretty regularly with an obnoxious pandora commercial. Someone walks in and MY masseuse stops and steps out of my room to greet the customer and talk to them about price and availability. Effin really?! So I'm laying there with frozen toes staring at the floor like.... Should I just leave? She comes right back in and continues. A call comes in... which everyone and their mom in the building is aware of because once again, no real walls... MY masseuse answers it!! She proceeds to take this call WHILE doing my massage! When she's done filling in the next dope on availability she drops the phone down which lands between my legs! She continues the massage. Annnnd right on cue another obnoxious pandora commercial comes on. Ok I should leave! I should just stop her and leave. I don't. Why don't I? Because at this point I'm thinking well.. they're going to charge me for at least half an hour or 45 mins so... I'm counting the seconds until she says I'm done. Like who the eff has ever gotten a massage and wished it would END? She ends my back with the stereotypical hand chopping you see in movies and a nice warm wet towel... which is awesome because I have hypothermia at this point but quickly turns to crappy because that towel turns cold within an instant. So I'm now cold, wet, chopped, and just ready to get the eff out. She spends maybe 10 mins if that on my front... and... voila she's done. Never in life...... Never In Life Will I Ever Everrrrrrrrrrrerrrrrrrr Go Back!!!!!! NEVER So flippin sad and disappointing that I spent almost $100 on a crap massage for my bday.
