Cathy answered and was very pleasant. I explained our situation and she was understanding and found us a Snowshoeing Tour in the Tetons for a half or whole day. We chose a half day guided snowshoe tour. Beverly met us at our hotel the next morning at 0800. We chatted for a bit and there were a couple of options for us to 'shoe'. My daughters hadn't seen a Moose before so we chose the River Valley Area in the Teton National Park. The drive was about 20 minutes from Jackson. Beverly had all the gear you needed. We started out on our hike and the scenery was so beautiful. We had a very 'bluebird' day. On our was back we began to see signs of Moose. Shortly after we found what we wanted to see. A cow and her calf. Being careful not to stare to long or threaten them we were able to watch and see these beautiful animals and appreciate their size. Beverly was a very knowledgeable guide and a wonderful woman. Having help raise two daughters it is great for them to interact with other strong women. We have discussed as a family of visiting in the summer months and The Hole Experience offers a overnight camping and hiking experience that we will want to do.

She was thoughtful and courteous, called back when we got disconnected (i think i was laughing and hung up with my cheek). She arranged for Tessa to be our guide. Tessa was extremely knowledgeable about the trails, brought us to one that for our hiking skills (or lack of) and took us on a beautiful hike. We learned about local plants, trees, and climbed to the top of the trail where we could see all the mountains around us. It was exactly the hole we asked for! We traded interesting and fun tales, learned about Jackson Hole, Teton, and even bits about Yellowstone, we stayed hydrated with provided water, and had an amazing day. Thank you Tessa for exceeding our expectations!

Taren was exceedingly apologetic and accommodating. It turns out they were handling an unusually high volume of reservations that day, and unfortunately, ours slipped through the cracks. Her service recovery was excellent. Given the business's consistently high ratings, I have no doubt that our one-off situation will be taken as a learning opportunity to help them continue delivering excellent tours to future clients. Original abridged review: **Disappointed by the experience -- not what we paid for, though our guide saved the day** I hate to leave a review like this, but our experience didn't match what was promised or paid for. We booked an early morning safari in advance as part of a bachelorette weekend, expecting a seamless start to a packed day. Unfortunately, the company forgot our reservation entirely, and despite repeated calls, no one arrived until two hours late -- well past the peak wildlife viewing time and after significant disruption to our schedule. Several advertised amenities, including breakfast and hot beverages, were missing, and communication throughout was poor. A minimal refund was eventually offered, but only after we pushed for it. That said, our guide Barry was outstanding. He came in on his day off, brought great energy, was knowledgeable and engaging, and did his best to salvage the situation. We're grateful to him. Ultimately, though, the overall experience was disappointing. For a premium tour marketed as professional and seamless, it missed the mark. We hope the company improves its customer service and reliability moving forward.

We had the pleasure of having founder Matt Fagan as our tour guide for 4 days in September 2014. Matt has such extensive knowledge of the best sites and how to view wildlife, and he had everything planned so seamlessly that we were able to see an incredible amount of amazing things. Each day was completely different, and Matt is a true expert of Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Teton areas. He has a wealth of knowledge, and has a great way of sharing it in a way that makes it engaging. Matt really made this a spectacular trip. He has a way of making everyone feel comfortable. Even his driving is great (having recently been on other tours outside of the US with a bad driver, this was important to me). We saw all kinds of wildlife like wolves, bison, moose, antelope, deer, elk, ravens, eagles, and even a little bunny rabbit! The landscape is breathtaking at every turn, but Matt selected out sites that really showed off the best parts of Grand Teton & Yellowstone, including gorgeous waterfalls, canyons, and of course, many of the immense options for geysers. Even if you have just one day to tour, having a tour with Buffalo Roam is completely worth your time and money. The parks are so vast, there is hardly any cell phone service, so you save vast amounts of time, effort, and stress of having to navigate sites (or find a bathroom) by hiring Buffalo Roam Tours - they know this place like it's their treasured back yard, and they happily share their passion for park in a way that is contagious. This is coming from a through and through city girl, and even before the end of day 1 I was wearing binoculars around my neck and calling out names of different wildlife. Who knew? Thank you Buffalo Roam Tours for a wonderful adventure that we will always treasure!

Thanks so much for making my birthday week so special.

We were already staying one night at Capitol Reef Resort, and it was super convenient to add it onto my room booking.  We chose the 4 hour hike and our guide was informational and friendly. There were only 4 people and 4 llamas plus our guide at our time slot. Our llamas Hugo and Benny were beautiful and kept us smiling the whole time. My hubby normally does not enjoy hiking but the 4 miles went by pretty quickly! We did get a few short 10-15 minute breaks. Our llama also carried the tables, chairs, food, and drinks for our picnic.  Our guide made us a Caprese sandwich and we got to enjoy the view with some cheesecake after. We got tons of beautiful pictures and videos with our llamas.  This was such a memorable experience and we were so happy to hike with the friendly and well behaved creatures.  When we hiked back to our hotel, we got to say good-byes by feeding the llamas some treats and taking more pictures.  I highly recommend this to anyone who loves llamas!

Capitol Reef is off the beaten path for most travelers, but it's a cool park and the rock formations are fascinating. We stayed at the Capitol Reef Resort (which was also great) and they had signs for llama hikes. What the heck is a llama hike?? My almost 60 year old Mom was a skeptic. I went on Instagram and found the company is rooted in Idaho, but have expanded across the country. I didn't have phone service so I did email contact and tried to use the hotel phone. Within minutes I got a response! This was 15 hours notice and they said we were in. AWESOME. So the llamas come up over the hill and I'm like -- this is amazing already and it only got better from there. Our guide, Jessiny, was so kind, knowledgeable and treated us to a wonderful 2 hour walk/hike in the washes of Capitol Reef, an area hardly traversed. Also, the guide/hike was just us! They do this private reservation thing so it's just your booking and the guide -- what?! All for $180?? What a steal. Let's get to the llamas. My skeptical mother was smitten within minutes. They are these giant, fluffy, adorable creatures that want to cuddle, walk with you and just chill while you walk around the outskirts of Capitol Reef. It's like having a giant camel-like dog by your side. You can put your stuff in their packs and feed them treats. It's the absolute BEST. Our guide was also super cool about making stops, getting water and taking pictures. She was also attuned to our pace and energy levels. The whole experience was outstanding and it made memories forever. Do this while you are here, it was worth every penny. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I miss my llama already.
