First off, not sure why people are so harsh about this place. This is one of the only parks with nice grass and trees which is not an easy find in this part of the state. There are some long term rvers but not that many. The prices is very good and you have lots of choices of types of sites. The place was well manicured as far as the grounds and we were able to park on a grass area which was awesome for our dogs and well appreciated. The bathrooms are definitely outdated but they were clean when we were there. It is in an industrial area but once in the park you can't tell. There is no access to the river from the park however you can ride a bike a short distance to the river walk which is so beautiful day and night. We never tried the pool so not sure how that rates but there were plenty of people using it. I had limited interaction with staff but what I did have was pleasant. I did ask if our spot was shady and she said it was which it wasn't. That would be my only complaint. I'm sure if I spoke up I might have got moved but that's on me for not asking to be moved. This is not a luxury park but I would stay again in a heartbeat mainly for the landscape, grass sites and being dog friendly. read more

We went over 4th of July & were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. However, It was right under a cell tower, and after 24 hours there I started getting a migraine & feeling panicky. If EMF's don't bother you, enjoy the convenient location, the fairly clean (old, but acceptable) bathrooms/shower house & full hookups. There's even a small pool the kids enjoyed. We had a tent site & our trailer. The downside was that they didn't turn off the sprinklers, so at 1:30 AM they sprayed the tents, soaking them for 1/2 hour. All in all we enjoyed our trip, but had to go home to recover. read more

Made my entire SUMMER 2025, 55 stops and excursions. Had to start CANCELING MY ENTIRE TRIP 4/9/25 because of unforeseen circumstances. Sent 2 email to this RV Park with no response. Called today and asked for my refund for a stay 5 1/2 months OUT from the arrival date. They said, SORRY, no refunds after you make the reservation! He said that's the rule and they closed the reservation and could not open it again. I said SO, SEND ME A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT. He said "NO" and I said I would give a review on all the sites. This is a GOOD SAM RV PARK. Customer beware!! They said NO EXCEPTIONS! Life Happens and 5 1/2 months cancellation seems like plenty of time to rebook another guest. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! This place looks nothing like their website. Tons of permanent residents that have been allowed to junk out their sites. Lots of broken down cars, junky RVs and trash piles everywhere. The playground is broken down and trashed. Amenities aren't well cared for. Overall it's a very trashy campground. This place was NOT what the online booking displayed it as. The tents "sites" are not designated and not what photo show. No table per site as all the tables are movable so you may or may not get one. It cost to do laundry. Bathrooms are dirty. No signs to keep pets off designated area for tents so it has also become a toilet for pets. Watch where you step. WiFi doesn't work. Living residence is the "year round camping". We were only staying one night so that maybe determined our placement but rows E& L included alot of the what looked like "permanent" residents and for us that just feels a little run down & messy. It's also close to the railroad tracks and busy roads. If you plan on staying longer ask to be put down in the other section (was very nice) for less noise. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. Easy access to the freeway and grocery shopping if needed. On a sidenote, the people next to us were told that they could put out their doggie fencing because they were staying longer. The fence was less than 6 inches from our steps. Granted, they did ask us if we wanted them to move it, but they were told that it was perfectly fine by the management. There's not quite enough room to be allowing people to let their dogs have a fun little play area set up. Also, when you come in, if no one is in the office, check the corkboard for your reservation. It doesn't say that on the office door it says to call, but then the guy tells you to look at the corkboard. read more

We began to worry as we drove to this site. Passing through an industrial area with large silos & trucking companies. Many "full timers" on site with reflective trailer skirting held in place by duct tape & blocks. Staff were all friendly. We did feel sorry for them tho, apparently there is no A/C in the office. Wanted to buy a treat after being on the road, but it was so warm in the office, I was hesitant to buy a chocolate bar. Gravel roads & sites with full hook ups & fairly level. Patio area between rigs is shared by two rigs. First time I've seen this. Grassy area for tents with mature trees throughout the park. The brochures & website make it look like they are next to (or at least close to) the river & water falls. However, this is not true. The WiFi was non-existent & the cable TV was spotty at best., We did spend four nights here, fairly comfortably. But, the park could be better. read more

This is an old RV park, probably a former KOA, in a not-so-great part of Idaho Falls. We got there early, hoping to check-in early, as did others, and it seemed like we were a major inconvenience. One problem is that the people in the store don't know who checked out, and instead of having one of their employees on a cart radioing the office with vacant spaces, someone from the office has to walk out and check on spots. The A area had separate entrances, one of which was blocked by several U-Hauls. Some of the long-term residents are in this area, and their spots were very unseemly. Fireworks constantly launched in the area - not sure if they were in the park or not. If you're in need of an ADA accessible restroom or shower, none of them are. Bathroom in the A loops did not get maintained as often as it should, especially the soap. Dumpster was overflowing, and some of the roads / exits had a lot of potholes. Unfortunately, this is a park to avoid. Not sure how it earned its high rating with other sites. read more

This RV park is very poorly managed. There are several loose dogs and cats that are allowed to run free and pee and poop wherever they want, including other peoples RV sites. This included employees pets, and friends of employees that have "special privileges". When I walked my dog, I always had to watch out for dog poop everywhere. Dogs are also allowed to continuously bark all day with no consequences either. The Manager refuses to do her job and call Animal Control when people complain about loose animals, especially dogs. So if you like barking dogs and "dog and cat pee everywhere", then this is the park for you. It is also very noisy, with lots of loud vehicles with broken exhaust systems that people are too stupid and lazy to get fixed. Any complaints to Management will fall on deaf ears. The new manager is clueless and has only been there for like 4 months. The previous manager, Heather, was much better to deal with and was more professional, however she did not care about the loose dogs and cats either, and would also refuse to call Animal Control. Management is also too cheap to replenish and maintain the gravel on the roads properly, so it is very dusty, especially when it is windy. It is a dust bowl. The Laundromat is always dirty as well. Do yourself a favor, and find a better, cleaner, and quieter RV Park. Unless you like seeing and smelling cat and dog pee and poop everywhere, including your own site. read more

I recently just stayed in one of They're cabins and I'm am beyond disappointed. The cabin was so filthy it was truly disgusting under the beds and the bed frames was filled with so much garbage. There was an odd thing in the bed frame it looked like a fish bone. There was bugs and spiders attacking us when we was sleeping There is no ac and that makes it hard to stay in ur room in the day time because it's so hot. I understand this is an old place and it's a camp ground so it won't be the most clean but I've Been in other cabins that was very clean If they start cleaning they're cabins a little more and add ac I would definitely stay there again.. read more

Awesome place to camp or park your RV. Very clean especially for it being an older facility. Very maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back again. Didn't see any negative flags as other reviews noted. Only flags we saw were flying in from in front the office. Booked our stay in May. Received a welcome letter a few days before arrival. Arrived on the 4th of July at 2p, Whitney welcomed us and checked us in. Drove to our site and it was occupied. Called Whitney and she said no one was suppose to be there, stay put and she'd check into it. After about 45 minutes another member asked us to pull into a temporarily empty site while Whitney researched the problem so we could plug in (it was in the high 90s.) After almost 2 hours I went to the office to check the status to be told this story: the squatters occupied the spot overnight without checking in, filling out paperwork or paying and now were out so Whitney could not locate them. I asked if they could remove the small trailer or had any where else for us. Whitney was unable to assist. I asked how this could happen, how did no one know this happened since it was late in the day - didn't anyone do site checks? She stated she was by her self so the answer was "no!" So, at 6p (after being on the road since 6a) we were back on the road on a holiday with no place to go. Two Air Force Vets on Independence Day were kicked out because of several individuals rude behavior! read more

I understand that with all the snow and rain, the roads and sites can be muddy, but this place was next level. I would have hoped that when I checked in and paid, including a daily pet fee, we would have at least been given a heads-up as to what to expect. Getting to our spot was sketchy because the mud was so deep, and when we got to our spot, it wasn't just muddy. It had standing water right where our stairs would have gone. The park doesn't do anything to at least grade the road in or the sites themselves, as there were huge ruts everywhere. After taking a look around and realizing what a mess this would make in our rig and the fact that the rig next to us was sinking in the mud, we decided it wasn't worth staying. So even though we had paid for two nights, again, including a daily pet fee, we left. That's not even mentioning the fact that we were parked right behind a pub in an industrial area. Pubs are fun, but I don't want to be parked by one. read more

This is not a four star RV Park. It's not even a two star. The spots are tight and poorly designed, so they open up to each other. So you're sharing a 5 foot wide area with a stranger and your business is now their business and privacy is non-existent. The layouts just don't make sense. The spots are crappy dirt/gravel and are NOT level. The surrounding area is industrial, and everything in the park is old and poorly kept up. It's VERY noisy and attracts some pretty questionable characters. There's significant road noise, and the Train is omnipresent while runnings horn every time it goes by. Good luck sleeping. It's stinky if you're by the water, and it's VERY buggy because it's proximity to (contaminated (look it up)) water ways. Move on to the next stop on your journey if you can. I will avoid this place like the plague in the future. read more

Upon arrival around 4 pm we were assigned a spot right next to the restroom. My husband asked if we could possibly be changed to another site. The woman told him there were no other spots available (When booking this reservation there was no option to choose your space.) When we parked we could instantly smell sewer and urine from the restrooms. And there were SEVERAL other identical spaces we could have parked. One right next to us, and four others further down. The playground is what was most disappointing though. There is a lot of broken play equipment that is actually a safety hazard. There was a child jumping on top of the play set and the entire thing was just shaking. The streets are all gravel so we couldn't even let our small children ride bikes here. We ended up leaving and just driving to our next spot. read more

You really wanna like this place. You really do. Then, the sun comes up in the morning and you wonder, how long do I have to stay here??? And not in a good way. When you realize that there are no designated spots, only suggestions, things get creepy. We chose a spot not near anyone (the place was half empty) only to come back from dinner to find an RV parked so close to us that when we opened the door of our trailer to go inside, it touched the trailer of the dillhole who parked so close to us. Hearing strangers fart in the nighttime cuz they parked so close to you is revolting. When this was brought to the attention of the ladies working the check-in area, the next morning (no one there to complain to at night), the amount of 'We don't care' was enough to get us to leave waaaay earlier then our reservations were scheduled for. Thanks to our excellent card company, we got a refund. If you're looking for creepiness... this place is for you. read more

The restrooms were not cleaned at all during a more than three day stay. This park is in a very noisy area there are partiers at a nearby bar all night long. This campground is not all that near the Riverwalk or parks as claimed on the Good Sam website. There is no WIFI available parkwide as claimed on Good Sam. There is no cable TV but there are a few channels available via antenna. There isn't anyone doing maintenance as a toilet in the bathroom has been running for three days. The check-in staff are rude and dismissive. IfbI were to say one positive it's that the washing machine are newer. Please note that there are a lot of permanent rvers here some of whom seem to do little.to keep up the appearances of their sites. Because of the area that this park is in I have not felt safe. read more

We were skeptical even before we got here, but checked in anyway after a long drive. This park is awful. Rigs close together and dirty. We put our steps down from the rig into a mound of cigarette butts. The view was of huge silo structures. It is in an industrial area. It appears they don't have staff to care for the grounds. Along the perimeter of the park are long term residents. We were to stay 1 week, but pulled out today and found another park 2 hours away in Utah. Might be able to tolerate 1 night, but not a week. read more

Very nice little park. Marlee was very pleasant. I asked to be moved to the spot by the pool, she obliged with a smile. The maintenance crew was on point when a nasty lightening storm came thru. They cleared the pool for safety reasons, this shows they care. He was spot on after the storm and cleaned the pool and surrounding area then reopened the pool. The park was very clean. We had a nice patch of grass that was well kept. The other campers were very friendly. I met Grizz, a Saint Br Doodle. I have traveled extensively and this RV resort was one of the better ones. Good Sam RV Park. Clean place close to BYUI and Idaho Falls. Seasonal camper I saw was neat and tidy.

We haven't stayed there but there is good reason for the lousy review. Made reservations for 1 night in May. Due to Coronavirus our reservations at Yellowstone, the purpose of the whole trip, were cancelled. Snake River has refused to refund the $52 they charged as a deposit. Seems they have a non-refundable deposit policy no matter that the consumer is not notified until the confirmation email......after the deposit was charged. Also, despite the fact that the reservation was cancelled a full two months prior to the date reserved. We never make reservations for anything if there is a non-refundable policy. They need to be responsible and let folks know before the money is charged. In a national emergency the policy isn't more fluid? Really? I will NEVER stay at this place and will make a point of letting anyone traveling to Idaho to NOT make reservations at Snake River RV P By the way, the snake is a perfect logo for this business. read more

Just passing through the area from SLC to Bozeman Montana. Called them from the road and the had space. Not always easy with a 35 ft Travel Trailer. The place it clean and easy pull throughs with grass on both sides. Just on edge of town and pretty quiet at night. Although a quick, loud, thunder storm rolled through at about 5:00 AM and shook the whole park. Good little pancake and sausage breakfast in the morning. Great location near the Snake River. BUT - we were very disappointed and concerned to see a flag with profanity directed at the current US president flying right beside the children's playground, it flew with an improperly displayed American flag. It seemed to be a long term renter. How the park can allow this is beyond me. My wife contacted the park about the flag and they never responded to her. We'll never stop here again. Good business model for discouraging return customers. read more

The wifi does not work, at all. It's important to know that if you work on the road!!! Friendly staff. If you are assigned a back-in site, you will be packed in like a canned sardine.
