I absolutely love this Giant Eagle. I have been going to this Giant Eagle at Moraine Point Plaza for at least 10 years. Ever since they opened however long ago that was. They are always well stocked, the store is always clean, the bakery always has some nice fresh bakery items available on a daily basis. Their buns are second to none. The meat and the seafood have always been fresh. Their milk selection is absolutely amazing. Don't listen to the negative reviews on here it seems more like disgruntle employees more than actual customers. 5 Star Rating read more

When I go to a pharmacy to pick up my medication, I do not expect or accept that a Pharmacy Tech to be wearing a homemade cardboard pronoun tag on their uniform. I do not see any other "pronoun tag" on their uniforms. How is this acceptable? Is there a policy that allows this? This should not be forced on customers. read more

I called 2 days ago to refill my prescription and was told it would be ready yesterday. arrived today and they can't find it. after 10 min they say oh the pharmacist found it but it'll take 20 min. Worst pharmacy ever. When your friends tell you how incompetent they are, believe them. I wish I had. They will call or text saying your prescriptions are ready, but when you get there, it's another story. As for the rest of the store, if it's not on sale, expect to pay Whole Foods prices and if it is on sale, don't expect them to be adequately stocked or even carry the items. read more

Don't even think you are going to find things organized in any sense of logic. Stuff seems to be scattered pell mell through the store. Categories like drinks, snacks or dairy can be anywhere. They have plenty of room to keep drinks in the same aisle, but do they. Hell no, they are I. Almost every aisle. Frustrating shopping here due to lack of offerings and organization. To further take advantage the pharmacy seems to sign you up for auto renewals without asking. read more

I know corporate took over this store, so it probably won't last long, but one suggestion would be to bring back the United milk. We have been buying the tweener size for years and I don't feel like paying more for Giant Eagle "local" milk. I suggest you keep United and get rid of Marburger. Their milk is in every store. If this store is not going to handle Marburger Milk then they will lose a lot of business. I do know the clearview store is not going to handle Marburger milk only united milk. I work with dairy farms in western Pa. and I work with farms that send their milk to both milk companies. I will tell everyone that the quality controls for Marburger Mill is better than United Milk and I will not even buy Deans Milk. I am guessing that since corporate took over they found that they can save a few cents from United vs Marburger Milk. The reason is borderline illegal. In Pa. we have a Pennsylvainia Milk Marking Board. That board sets a minimum price that milk can be retailed for in Pa. That board also through hearings every 6 months sets an additional amount for the Pa dairy farmers for milk that is produced, processed and retailed in Pa. in an attempt to keep local dairy farms from going out of business. Because Marburgers only buys milk from Pa. dairy farms and only has a processing plant in pa then all the milk they process and sell must pay the dairy farmer the premium. Because United Dairy has processing plants in Ohio, Pa. and West Virginia. they can avoid paying the extra premium for the milk they sell in Pa. by taking milk from Pa. to Ohio or West Virginia and bring Ohio or West Virginia milk to sell in the Pa. stores. Please let Giant Eagle know if you want to support your local dairy farmers and get better quality milk with Marburger Milk. read more

I honestly don't understand the current low reviews for this store. This is our goto grocery store in Butler. The produce always looks great;aisles are recently revamped, butcher shop is great although it always takes a minute to get a butcher's attention as they are always busy in the back, butchering, I guess. Deli has a very nice selection of cold cuts and a super selection of prepared foods, salad bars and relish bar. Good specialty cheese and vegan selections. Honestly, what's the problem? We've been shopping there for 25 years and prefer this location to shopping at Aldi's (unless they have crazy sales) or Walmart (heaven forbid!). read more

Very high prices. Produce looks like it was picked 4 weeks ago. I used the bathroom and there was dried feces all over the seat of the toilet. They have a bucket sitting there with cleaning supplies for the customer to clean the stalls themselves. Very unsanitary. read more

I bought a chicken pot pie at this Giant Eagle. The top was golden brown pastry and looked delicious. That's where the fantasy ended. The crust was only on the top of the aluminium tin and not lining the tin as I was expecting, also the filling was so sparse that it barely covered the bottom of the tin. What a rip-off. Probably cost them 50¢ or less of ingredients and that's being generous. The old rip the consumer off. STAY AWAY FROM THE POT PIES AT GIANT RIPOFF. read more

I would advise against shopping or applying for employment here! The management is rude, impatient and afraid to be direct. Giant Eagle corporate needs to take ownership of this store. I don't respect managers who refuse to be direct with employees whose work isn't up to par. read more

Really what is the deal with the store membership cards and the constant changing of the prices and the double coupons??? Do you not realize that it makes customers wary of shopping at your store cause we never know what you're going to charge us for anything and it holds up the checkout lines?? It's pretty simple...just show the amount the item costs and we'll pay it. You don't have to try to trick us with the games, we just want to get in and get out and get something to eat. If you want to see how it's done, just head over to Walmart and shop there. I hate using Giant Eagle, the fuel perks or whatever are not going to keep me coming back. read more

Wow am I surprised by the phone call that was supposed to be for my wife, but I fielded in her absence. My wife went shopping at the Moraine Pointe Giant Eagle in Butler to use a price match for a turkey. She asked the man in the meat department if Giant Eagle would honor an ad from Bottom Dollar, and he said yes, but they do that at the register. My wife proceeded to buy over $100 worth of groceries only to find that they WILL NOT price match. She was sent to Customer service where she received the same response. After purchasing her turkey at Wal Mart, my wife voiced a complaint that resulted in the store manager, Tom Longo, calling our home to inform me that they are an independent store, and not a corporate owned store, and so they operate by different guidelines. He then proceeded to lecture me that some small print somewhere else in the ad exempted them from having to honor the ad. If that was bad enough, when I told Tom Longo that I believe that was deceptive, and that I can understand why my wife can back so frustrated, and now I am not satisfied with such advertising gymnastics, and that I was going to voice my disapproval on social media...LISTEN TO THIS, the store manager, TOM LONGO, threatened to sue me. Wow! Not only do they struggle with customer service, their store manager threatens their customers! read more

I will not shop at this Giant Eagle again. I live in Mars, but go through Butler on a regular basis during the summer months, so I thought I'd stop in one morning. Small, low selection, bakery at 8:15 am had no bagels -- none for another 20 minutes. Really??? I will go out of my way to go to the Seven Fields store instead. Takes a few more minutes, but will have everything I want and fresh. read more

I love this Giant Eagle. I think this is the best grocery store in the area - without going into the city. They have a decent selection of gluten free and organic foods. I rarely shop anywhere else. read more
