We've been coming to this Costco since they opened in 2001! We love our Costco & they have plenty of parking & cheap (er) gas. Because this warehouse was built in 2001, the gas lanes are not as large as some other new Costco's and there aren't as many pumps, so you have to wait a little bit longer. I use Costco optical to purchase my eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses. We have used the pharmacy. It's always fun to look at everything that they have in the warehouse and there are some great deals to be found. Of course Costco samples are always fun to try while you are shopping. Costco does get crowded, especially on weekends and near holidays, but they are pretty efficient at this one in moving large crowds through their lines. They are also closed on holidays, which is nice for their employees. We love getting their shrimp cocktail, and their fresh street tacos & their desserts & cakes are huge, tasty & cheap compared to bakeries. The clothing deals are awesome. Every time you go to Costco it's a different experience. I have also bought iPads and Apple Watch is there. We have an executive membership because we go so much, and an executive membership is worth it depending on your spending level annually. The new perk for executive members is that you can get into the warehouse an hour before the general public, which means at 9 AM instead of 10 AM. I always liked Costco better than Sam's Club and I'm glad that Costco is what we have in Cranberry Township. You can return anything, anytime, easily with no questions asked. read more

Costco has been a weekly trip for us for a few years now. The savings on gas, paper towels, toilet paper etc alone make the membership worth it, even for a household of two. Yes, it can get crowded during the day and on weekends. And the parking lot can get dicey. I usually try to go right before they open and it's not too bad. I've also used the tire center several times: their prices and service are great. My only wish is that the store had signs in the aisles! read more

This Costco store is the closest one to my house, so I come here several times per year. This store has a layout that is easy to navigate. Closer to the entrance are electronics such as televisions, computers, and appliances. Next are home goods such as office products, bedding, kitchenwares, and home improvement supplies. The center of the store has products such as clothing and snacks. About half of the store contains groceries with some cleaning and beauty products mixed in, and this section is the one where I spend most of my time. I like this Costco's meats, fishes, cereals, dog treats, and dog pads. Unfortunately, they seem to sell milk only as fat-free, 2%, and whole rather than also 1%. Many products are sold in a large size and would be more appropriate for restaurant owners to buy, but many other products are a perfect size for my household of two people. The quality of the products is very high, and the prices are usually lower than what I have seen at competing retailers. During my most recent visit, the checkout went very smoothly. One employee scanned my merchandise, and another employee helped to unload and load my shopping cart. read more

My wife and I went to this Costco store today thinking about joining. We were allowed to walk around and take a look at all the items in stock, and if there was anything we would like to purchase we could get a membership. Well, we found a lot! We filled our cart with items and then purchased a membership. I was especially pleased with the clothing offered there. All of the clothes were made well and fit me perfectly. Horrible customer service. They checked my membership like usual, but all of a sudden they started checking again at the check. The next thing I knew, they were giving me a difficult time because my name was not on the a card. Sam's club wouldn't give a fuss about this, in fact you can check out with your phone. Sam's club is more advanced than Costco and was just happy to being making money. Their customer service is horrendous and the supervisor was seriously called over and said that she would make an exception this one time. I could understand if I was using a strangers account, but seriously my mother's account and they give me such shit about it. I take care to avoid ANY Costco during peak times during the week or the Holidays, as it can certainly get overwhelming. That said, even during those times of the year their front end works through the lines fairly quickly. And while the self checkout isn't ideal for a typical order, for a quick purchase it is nice to have. I do like that they work through new inventory, but it can be difficult if you end up finding a staple grocery item that you love only to have them pull it from the shelves. That said, it doesn't happen very often for me personally. I tend to focus on cleaning products, fresh meat and produce as my go-to's at this location, and some bakery items for the occasional party. And like most, I love their cafe for a quick slice of pizza or a hot dog for a cheap lunch. read more

This is a highly effective Costco. Yes, it can get busy especially during weekends (but what Costco doesn't?). However, I find that the people are friendly, the produce seems fresh, and the lines for checkout, customer service, food court, gas. etc. all move very quickly. I came here for the specials on chicken/cranberry/jalapeno meatballs and the frozen egg rolls. And as is typical, walked out spending $70 more than intended. We were headed back to Ohio and this Costco was the only one that didn't take us miles out of our way. I really wanted to try those meatballs. I probably could have spent a couple of hours in here. I saw so many things the Columbus Costco doesn't carry. And NO SALES TAX ON CLOTHING! You lucky Pittsburghers and your apple pie is $4 cheaper than ours. Gas prices were NOT significantly lower than surrounding stations. I was pleased to see the little buns in the bakery. For us, they are a perfect size for sandwiches. Overall, a nice Costco. And as is typical of most Costcos, you will find items that are typical of the clientele they serve. I am more of a get in/get out shopper but I wish I had time to stay a little longer. read more

Snobby, rude, racist, arrogant, disrespectful service. Is that actual customer service? Don't go to the eye glass section. I did and was yelled at, rushed along, and treated like I was undeserving of their minute long attention. Then, when I phoned in to complain from the parking lot, I was told that was fine behavior I received and hung up on before I could respond. The thing is, these are grown, white adults, not high school or even college aged kids that are acting with this level of impunity. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I come from California, where the level of actual Costco customer service is, apparently, exceptional. Who knew? I've taken returns without a receipt here and was told I could not return any item. In California, I never took a receipt to return items for 20 years. They just looked up the items on my account and accepted the returns. They did their jobs. It is no wonder I see no brown or black people shopping here. They have better things to do with their energy than spend it getting back to center, after even a brief stop. This is a disgraceful part of Costco's lineup and I will go out of my way to never shop here again. Too many chances given, and too many dismal experiences accrued. read more

I have been a regular shopper here for years now. I find that they sell really great products, and the pricing cannot be beat! The bakery offers really fresh baked products, the meat and seafood have always been really fresh and high quality, the frozen and dairy section always have a nice variety and the employees are always so helpful and friendly. Plus, the gas station always offers the cheapest prices for gas. My only complaint is sometimes you love a product and then its gone forever. Parking can be a nuisance at times and I would love if they added more cart returns. But this never deters me from shopping here. read more

I am not sure why when you visit a Costco you are not use to, but it always feels weird and you feel out of place. To me, this particular location felt on the smaller side, but that might be the way that it is set up, I guess not two Costcos are alike. After getting my bearings in here I was able to grab the items I came here for and make a b-line to the registers. As with any Costco out there, there is always a massive wait in this area. Just hope that you find the one line that will take less time than what you just spent shopping in the store, and also make sure you don't get stuck behind someone that still uses checks. Every employee I came across here were super nice and willing to help if you needed it. Even the guy at the door that checks your receipt. Made the experience here a little bit better. read more

This Costco is great. Much bigger than the standard Sams Club store in my opinion. The samples are a great perk, as well as the inexpensive cafe food upon check out (pizza is great!). I have used the car center as well, all the staff was super helpful and had speedy service. The only down fall is, if you come here on a weekend it is PACKED. There isn't a lot of opportunity to look around or graze because the store is so crammed packed. I definitely recommend shopping during the day, or the week nights at the very least. read more

What a great place to shop! Wide selection of stuff and plenty of stock. For the most part the food and vitamin vendors are very friendly but some want to make you run from them with their limited knowledge and surly attitudes, it, thankfully that is only the few. Costco has great prices and return policy. The only written warnings are to watch the prices on paper goods. A consumer magazine said that is where they jack the prices and have combination of size and quantity that makes your head whirl. It is on purpose. The electronics section is the best! read more

My family has been shopping at Costco since I can remember, and sometimes we just love the hotdogs and chicken bakes at the concession so much that we'd come here for lunch :P I love that you get great quality goods and lots of name brands for less as long as you're ok to buy in bulk. I must say I love every section from the bakery to the books to the produce, everything! They sell organic and healthy items. Flowers are beautiful, fresh and inexpensive. Seafood is of great quality. I love getting their lobsters here for Valentine's. They are huge and at a good price. You can also always find gifts here, too. Not just with food and electronics but also with gift cards sold in bulk and at a discount. ex: get 2 $50 Nakama gift cards for $79.99 etc. I love the seasonal section as well. We never bought furniture here bc they are pricey but looks like amazing quality. What surprised me recently is how they sell Pocky and Tim Tams in bulk (Lol! Awesome!) I love it when they sell Magnum ice cream and you get an awesome deal on them. It's just a bummer that certain things like that or other items are temporarily stocked or are almost seasonal because I would want to repurchase them throughout the year. read more

Today the Costco Tire Center staff replaced all 4 tires on our Honda CRV with Michelin CrossClimate2's. We had an appointment and were in and out in a little over an hour. They are our go to place for tires and after sales service (re-balancing, rotation, flat repair, etc. They continually spoil us with great service, low prices, friendly attitude, courtesy, efficiency and after-sales service (rotation, flat repair, etc.). What else can one ask for? I heartily recommend them for your tire needs. read more

My husband and I shop here often, especially when in need of bulk items. The warehouse becomes easy to navigate once you have an idea where each section is located. As soon as you walk in the door, they have the latest in season products on the right side. Straight ahead are the electronics/technology and as you begin to walk down the main aisle, the right side often has a nice selection of furniture or additional in season items. As you head towards the back of the store, the left side contains all types of household items while the right has a decent selection of clothing for men, women, and children. The back left side of the warehouse contains snacks, baked goods, and the actual bakery section with meats, frozen and fresh, on the right side. Moving across the store, there is a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, but only purchase if your family is large enough or your know you will consume such an amount for the length of time the products will be fresh! The second half of the store contains a large selection of drinks, household necessities such as tissue paper, paper towels, soap varieties, detergent, etc, baking ingredients, paper products, flowers, snacks, and a wide selection of frozen items. Depending on the time of day you stop by, there are roughly five stands with samples of products that are currently discounted. They will often suck you in and we will walk away with something new after trying it! The latest was a two pack, frozen kale and chicken pizza made with a broccoli and cheese crust that has made a quick, easy, tasty meal! In addition, Aidell's vendors will every so often be there with cases of their meatballs and chicken sausage - one of our staples! I have happened to hit it at the right time to stock up on sausage! On top of it all, gas prices are much better here compared to anywhere else. I fill up when I can as I do not get to this side of Cranberry very often. We will continue shopping here to restock our home, use our Costco card to rack up cash back, and purchase gas to run our vehicles! read more

Costco is an integral and essential part of my shopping and I've got to have my fix regularly! In my opinion it's well worth the membership fee. Their fruit & produce can't be beat and their meat selection is spectacular. You never know what new delight you will discover that you will continue to buy for years and can't imagine how you ever got through life without. This is why they offer samples - not that I have to encourage anyone to enjoy those! I'm particularly fond of the frozen fish aisle,as well. Their frozen Atlantic & Pacific Cod literally can't be distinguished from fresh and their breaded tilapia makes a killer fish sandwich. I've probably tried nearly everything in this aisle, except the fish sticks. Not happening! We've bought TVs, appliances, kitchen items, toothbrushes, lawn chairs, shrubs, flowers and all other sorts of assorted goodies here over the years & just keep going back for more...regularly. The only downside is occasionally you'll fall in love with something & never see it again here. Just part of the adventure! read more

Composite review. Costo, in my area, does an enormous business for basic reasons: selection of foods and goods, and great pricing. In order to benefit from the annual membership one needs to shop there at least once a month, but many go twice weekly. The much enhanced "cheese and meat" area is a match for anything GEagle has, and far lower pricing from what I can tell. One has to be a member to use the facility, but the annual fee is worth it. f8 and be there. read more

I shop here all the time. As a small business owner it's indispensable. But closing at 6 on Saturday is a serious problem way too often.

Love the fresh produce and the bakery items that are baked fresh daily! The kirkland brand is awesome and we love that we can find deals on some of the staple items in our house! The food in the cafe is always delicious and very reasonably priced. The only negative about this costco, in my opinion, is the flow at the cash registers. Lines can get crazy long, and the managers do not do a great job of opening registers and taking customers in the order that they were in line. I watched one manager stand near a register and wait for someone that he knew to come up before he opened the register for them, even though we had been waiting in line for quite a while. read more

Five stars all-around for the Costco in Cranberry. Maybe it's because I'm a nerd and I'm "into" economics, but I "get" Costco. It "speaks" to me. Sorry for the air quotes, but you get the cut of my jib. The store is easy to navigate with the big aisles and good, but not TOO good, lighting. The meat here is always fresh, and the vegetables live inside a walk-in refrigerator which is evil in the winter and nice in July. Reading the comments my fellow Yelpers write, the associates are hit or miss. In my experience, they've all been hits, from the lady giving the Brioche sample to the butcher stocking rotisserie chicken; from the cashier to the guy at the pizza counter (the pizza here is wonderful, by the way). The techs in the tire department are cool, too, and very efficient. You can literally drive up at any time and get your tire pressure topped off. Would recommend this Costco to anyone and everyone. One of the busiest places in town, they have very limited hours which bottlenecks traffic even worse on weekends. The only reason to go here is to get items that aren't available anywhere else. The free samples are usually of items they are just trying to move last minute for inventory controls. Don't just buy an item here thinking it's a good deal because it's in bulk. This is a standard Costco, like all they maintain the same inventory, offers and services as the others. My only complaint is their lack of cart return racks in the parking lot. Each row should have their own (perhaps pull-through racks like some other Costco's). This isn't because I am lazy and don't want to walk my cart all the way back into the store (which yes sometimes I am). Rather, it is because when you park in the parking lot facing the main entrance you need to walk your cart back inside and to do so you must cross the main traffic road that goes in front of the store. This causes a lot of backup for the autos trying to enter the Costco parking lots and a stressful experience for the customers returning their carts trying to dodge or wave to oncoming traffic. read more

(Pharmacy) I had an unpleasant experience with the pharmacy. I called because one of my rx's had an incorrect co-pay. The pharmacist (not the manager) told me they're too busy to make calls on patient co-pays. Then told me she would have done it if I would have said please and proceeded to hang up on me. I just checked out this Costco for the first time this past week. Though I probably won't be purchasing a ton of bulk from here as I live very close to the Waterfront location and work close to this one, it's a great place to come when I'm thinking while at work, "Oh no! I needed to buy ____ for tonight, but forgot!" Last week, I ran into the store for a few things, including grapes. I am often so disappointed in the produce at my local Giant Eagle and Aldi but was blown away by the quality and freshness of what was sold here. I served my 4 lbs of grapes at two different events - one on Wednesday and another on Friday - and kept getting questions of, "Where did you buy these? They are amazing!" from multiple people. Always clean, always fresh items, employees are always friendly since unlike other mass merchandise stores they actually are treated like "people" at Costco with good pay and good benefits and they truly do enjoy their jobs! I see some people say there is always a wait? I have shopped here quite frequently for over a year now and the front end check outs are always busy, yes.....But, there's always two people minimum helping you with your merchandise and if they see any lines, they simply open up all the registers. Unlike what is seen at stores like Walmart (comes to mind). Even if there is a line it goes very fast. Never wait very long at all. Kudos to Costco! read more
