While the location and complex amenities (pool, spa, sauna, etc.) are appealing and the property has good reviews in general, we found several issues that did not match the advertised description of a three‑bedroom condo. Specific concerns: * The unit was advertised as a three-bedroom condo; however, we were very disappointed to find that the third "bedroom" does not meet the reasonable expectations of a bedroom. It is very small, offers no privacy, has no cupboards, is cold and run down, and appears poorly maintained. There was visible drywall and water damage, an access panel stuffed with toilet paper, no working power, and overall the space was not suitable to be used as a bedroom. * The second bedroom's bunk bed wobbled with any movement and felt only appropriate for a very small child. The drawers in that room came off their hinges easily. * Other maintenance issues included: * Dripping master bathroom faucet with no proper water flow * Missing towel rail with exposed holes in the wall * A closet filled with old, unused items taking up space * Non‑functioning water filter in the kitchen fridge When we shared these concerns with the owner, the response dismissed them by saying it was a "great place" with plenty of demand, rather than addressing the maintenance and representation issues. We hope the listing description is updated and maintenance is improved, so future guests can make a fully informed decision.

Bathrooms - always dirty, bar - horrid service, okay food and no liquor. IDs required and that's fine but a retired military ID is legit (retired military IIDs are valid, fix your ID system!) my drivers license expires before my military ID and my military ID got denied..... Wtf people? Season passes - hit or miss if they work. 2 out of the 3 years we've bought our season passes early they haven't worked,, and we had to go to the office to "fix the issue" There's no issue except this company who can't get their process straight. John NEVER had this issue...and I've been coming here since 2011...... Food? Don't get me started on the cafeteria food they serve now... The prior owner, John Grisainger at least had GOOD food, quality food being served. Not this cut rate, previously frozen, cafeteria food that's now "available" here. This place is sad, and I doubt John thought this company would turn this place into what it is now. Who in their right mind thought downgrading everything but upping the costfor everything was a good idea..... Oh, I know.... A corporation that DOESN'T care about its customers, that's who.. Do better. You're capable of it.

The equipment rentals are pretty reasonable if you do not have your own The main lift is pretty speedy, the smaller lift to the shorter (not less steep, just shorter) hill was slower but less crowded and offered you an quicker escape if you needed it . I ended up walking halfway down the paradise run as i got a slight concussion trying to snowboard for the first time at 53. Love this ski resort. Been here the last few years and it's always such great trips. My daughter…read morehas been taking lessons each time and she gets better each time. This year she had a private lesson with Ezra C. He was wonderful. As a parent I get kinda worried that the teacher won't be patient or make it fun but he was playing games w her, she was laughing and my daughter said he was really nice & helpful. He helped her learn toe side & even more importantly he made sure she had fun. She gets better and better each time we go and I'm loving it. The check in, rental pickup & lesson all ran smoothly. It was a great experience that we will enjoy again next year

Booked through high country realty to stay at Giant Steps condominiums for skiing! Communication…read morewas difficult, and we had issues getting a hold of them so that we could get into our condo. Fortunately there were people at Giant Steps who found numbers to get a hold of them (numbers we did not have access to) in order to figure out how to get the keys for our condo! The place itself is very nice! However I recommend having more responsive call centers, because it was 4:45 pm on a Wednesday and we could not get a hold of anyone!
