Suddenly our pick up issued an overheating warning and we had to pull off to the side of a busy I-65 highway. After quickly checking for tow and repair companies, I called AR Towing & Repairs. Alfonso and his daughter, Ruby, thankful answered and came out immediately. We had a shredded fan belt. They drove us back to his shop, offered us chairs and water and got to work. Within 90 minutes, our truck was fixed AND he checked the rest of the engine compartment to make sure nothing else was damaged. He then took it for a test drive to make sure all was working correctly. We were blessed that our truck stopped where it did. We met good people and are thankful for their expertise!! Alfonso was the only mechanic who responded right away and came to our location immediately. After I explained the issue, Alfonso quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to repair the vehicle on the spot. He took his time to carefully check the car and made sure there were no other issues before sending us back on the highway. Alfonso was truly a lifesaver! Wish he never worked on my truck. I had a 1994 F350 with a 7.3 IDI motor. I was quoted a price of…read more$750. This was to remove a motor from another truck, pull the motor out of the good truck and install the other motor. I gave him plenty of time and warned him of the issues when pulling a 7.3 motor. He seemed to think he could do it better. I was able to find a motor, so he just had to do a swap, it still cost $750, he pointed out that he had to do what I said to swap the motor. I understand and am willing to pay for good work. Well, I pick up the truck and drove it home. It is an hour. Within 30 minutes the transmission stopped shifting properly. We towed it is rest of the way home. After looking it over the heat shield was not reinstalled, it protects the control wires from the heat of the exhaust pipe. So the wires were burnt. After repairing the wires the transmission still doesn't shift right. I will need to sort it out, probably fried the control boar in the tranny. The exhaust was not even connected to the truck properly. This is a custom F350 and is going to be re-conditioned. So it is now in storage. I wish I never had him work on it.

This place of business earned my respect, by telling me the truth and not charging me for things that weren't needed. The following is another great example of there integrity.... Normally, I do not trust dealerships and know their prices are outrageous. Well, I thought I would give one another try, after many years of avoid avoiding them. My Subaru was making some concerning noises, so I took it to a Subaru dealership. No need to mention it here, because I have noted all the details on another Yelp & Google review for that particular dealership. They "assessed" my vehicle, and sent me a nice video explaining what needed to be done. They wanted to charge approximately $3,879 for the services that involved the wheels and brakes. I was basically in shock, when I immediately called Okay Tire & Brake Center to get a quote for the same job. Jason, the owner was unavailable. So, Andrew, who has worked there for years, quoted $1,220 for the same service. I told him that I was going to pick my Subaru up from the Subaru dealership and bring it to them. I supplied Okay Tire & Brake Center with the information the Subaru dealership said I needed to get fixed. Okay Tire & Brake Service phoned me later to say, I didn't need all the service the Subaru dealership had recommended. Wow! Again, such honest people! They fixed my Subaru for a total of $895.58. What a savings! My Subaru runs like new again, thanks to them! They will continue to get my business and be recommended by me to others. The only downfall, is that they don't do ALL services on vehicle vehicles. Otherwise I would be taking my vehicles to them for EVERYTHING.
