There's a side entrance to get straight onto Platform 1 (which is the C2C down to Fenchurch St), with a convenient pick-up/drop-off bit outside. Last time I was there they weren't able to help me with my oyster card, and told me to go to an underground station - which is kind of difficult to do with a broken oyster card! That was a while ago though so hopefully not a problem any more. My grandma once fell down the steps there so be careful.

The least used Station on the District line (Possibly due to nearby Upminster station which has a…read morec2c national rail service skipping at the stations up to Barking and then West Ham towards Fenchurch Street) Upminster Bridge was always the station I would use to commute into London as a child, with only one island platform it lies between Upminster and Hornchurch station at the Far Eastern End of the District line in Zone 6 where you are guaranteed to always get a seat.

This is your normal train station in any town in London. It has two platforms - one leading to…read moreLondon via Lewisham and Greenwich, the second leading to Kent via Dartford. There is a small coffee shop on the London side, although I haven't got a drink from here in years. There is two ticket machines outside, and they both top up your Oyster card too. I find that the staff can be helpful depending on who serves you, but I normally just buy my ticket from the machine. It is exactly what it says it is - a train station!
