As I've said elsewhere I love the London Underground (Tube) system - cheaper and much faster that a taxi. This Tube station is close to Euston mainline station but not directly connected, nor is the signposting really clear. Must have been a 5+ minute walk - it was cold this morning but sunny and dry thank goodness. Since you have to walk past the taxi rank to get there - if it is raining keep strong, grit your teeth and save money and time!!! Love London Transport Review #99 2019

I've tried twice to get to Euston Square to see the inside and both weekends I was in the area, the station was closed for "Planned Engineering Works." It is in Travelcard Zone 1 on the Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & CIty lines (between Great Portland Street and King's Cross St. Pancras). Warren Street station is only a block away, so if you're wanting Victoria or Northern Line (Charing Cross branch), consider walking instead of connecting. Note that Euston Square Station is NOT Euston Station (the big National Rail station that is on the Victoria and Northern lines), though they are very close and apparently will soon be joined by a pedestrian walkway.

Just like any tube platform, seating, map, logo ...

The architecture was so beautiful at any time of the day. The inside being quite beautiful as well, especially when you walk upstairs overlooking the Eurostar trains and see a couple different statues there. My favorite was the large one of the couple embracing. Platform 9 3/4 is located in this station, for Harry Potter fans, the cart is available during the day to take a picture with for a price, but after hours they remove it and you can still take pics and videos with it! During my stay they had free ice cream outside the station that was super yummy and a nice little treat to have before heading out in my way to the trains. Inside the station are lots of places to eat and has cheap, convenient food spots like Greggs, and nicer sit-down places as well. It can be a bit tough navigating through the station because it's so big (especially when using maps and trying to find places like restaurants inside of the station) but for the train areas just follow the signs and it's pretty self explanatory. They even have a piano for people to play for fun which was cool to see and hear. Scanning in and out of the station is also easy because all you need is a credit/debit card and you don't even need to purchase a ticket which is so much more convenient compared to places in the US or France. ---- Overall: a great station to stay near and to go to, easy-ish to navigate and lots of places to eat at, very beautiful station as well

I've never had to wait in line to buy a ticket at the machines. The screens are large and pretty clear to help you figure out what train to take, and you can see all the different platforms. There are a lot of shops in this station to buy food - including Pret-a-Manger if you want a salad for something healthy. There's also Upper Crust or places to get coffee or a Boots if you need to pick up something there. You don't have to walk too far to get to the Tube, which is nice and the place has a lot of natural sunlight. The station is pretty, and they even have a Christmas tree during the holidays. All in all, a fine station to take the train and it's pretty centrally located. It's close to Borough Market too, which is nice if you want a good selection of food before or after your train gets in.

I had to connect to local WiFi to buy tickets. Otherwise use machines in the terminal. Beware that the +20 tracks are CNN located on the far side. You must have a ticket to enter any of tracks.
