Prior to the trial, he made sure that both myself and my witnesses were thoroughly prepared. He had useful advice about how to answer questions on the stand and how to respond in a constructive manner to even inflammatory remarks. He even managed to get the judge to allow me to testify via phone -- this saved me SO MUCH in respect to time, money, and convenience (have you seen the price of a round-trip ticket to Maine lately?!).
