yesterday i needed a lil laugh but now it's strictly business…read more On yesterday , I was making a package delivery to a customer's residence "Dexter Barousse owner of Moonlight Mechanicals" The delivery instructions specifically stated to deliver the package to the back door. In order to access the back of the property, I moved a traffic cone that was blocking the driveway and proceeded toward the designated delivery location. As I did so, the homeowner came outside and immediately became verbally aggressive, calling me a "stupid motherf*****" and other offensive names. He then moved the cone back into the driveway, preventing me from leaving. At that time, two dogs were positioned behind my delivery vehicle, and I remained in my truck waiting for them to move so I could safely depart. While I was seated in my work vehicle and speaking with my managers on the phone to report the situation, the homeowner approached my truck and continued yelling insults, including racial slurs. He then entered my vehicle without permission and physically assaulted me. I repeatedly asked him not to touch me and to get out of my truck, but he refused. The homeowner then attempted to take my phone from me. In response, I kicked him away in an effort to protect myself. He swung at me again but missed. I continued telling him to get off my truck, as the situation was escalating. I then walked toward the back of the truck. The homeowner followed me and attempted to strike me again still calling me offensive names, which resulted in a physical altercation. During the incident, he also attempted to hit me with a hand truck (dolly) while I was on the phone with my manager providing the address so law enforcement could be contacted. Additionally, the homeowner attempted to take my truck keys. When I informed him that the incident was being recorded, he pushed the camera downward and threw the keys back at me. Throughout the encounter, I made multiple attempts to de-escalate the situation, asked the homeowner to stop touching me, and requested that he leave my vehicle. His actions were aggressive, threatening, and physical in nature ! from my understanding this man is known to be aggressive to multiple people
