Finally called Aymond Automotive and Carlus answered the phone and explained that he was actually closed and just there until 10 AM waiting on a parts delivery and a customer pickup. He said he could come and check it for us and in 5 minutes he was there with a fuel pressure gage and confirmed our suspicion, fuel pump died. 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 OEM pump, never changed. He said tow it to the shop if we can get it there before 10. We got there at 9:15. Carlus changed the pump and filter and had us ready to go a little after 10. Shout out for this Marine Corps veteran for helping my family and I to get back on the road again and on our way to Orlando, FL. We got back home Easter morning in time for Easter morning services.
