Although they are usually pretty busy, the girls who work the kiosk are always friendly and polite (although it helps if you speak Spanish). The best thing about this place is that there is no setup fee. This is especially useful to me as a business owner, because if I want to put an employee's name below the company logo on their shirts, I don't have to pay a ridiculous fee every single time. For a basic logo, they charge $15 which is quite reasonable. You can leave your article of clothing there to be embroidered, go shop for 20 minutes or so, come back and pick it up. And of course there is *nothing* to do for 20 minutes at the mall to keep you occupied...[insert sarcasm here]. In short, this is a great place with good quality and good customer service. When you do find the entrance the first room seems derelict and abandoned. Then you enter into a bigger room with lots of pottery and ceramics around. People moving the pieces around. And you ask someone about fabrics, they point to the back of the showroom with racks and racks of fabric. The fabric is nice. Lots and lots of bolts. So I went to ask for a few yards and the man who helped me said he doesn't sell anything less than 20 yards. In fact he was pushing for me to buy an entire bolt. 100+ yards! Who needs 100 yards of green mesh? I don't have the space for that much material! He wouldn't budge. Wouldn't give me just a few yards. I had to walk away. Marched myself to Joann's and got 2 yards and saved myself $80! Sheesh!

My husband thought we should try the place in the mall, but I thought that there is no way they could do the bag...all I ever saw there were shirts and hats. So my husband started googling and found Ace. He thought it was worth a try. At about 5:30pm on a Saturday he walked into Sedanos and there was Ace Embroidery. Not only was he able to handle the large bag, but he recommended the perfect font. He didn't even think we were crazy when I called to make sure that my husband spelled our daughter's name correctly. (My husband had this weird feeling he spelled it wrong, he didn't). Service was friendly and we didn't break the bank with our daughter's long name. The bag was ready on Monday afternoon. We love it! More importantly our daughter loves it! She was thrilled. Since that first time we have had my husband's karate gear bag done, 2 American girl karate uniforms and most recently a backpack for our friend's son.
