I had a great experience with Lili at her color party! I've recently done a deep dive into the…read moreinternet rabbit hole of seasonal color analysis and tried some home draping and digital draping. I had developed a decent understanding of color theory but was having difficulty figuring out the subjective part of which colors made me look better or worse. I saw how affordable her color parties were compared to individual color analysis and brought a friend up to the city for a girls' evening. As a neutral muted light-skinned Eastern European girl with an olive overtone, I had guessed that I would be soft summer or soft autumn. I was surprised to see a clear preference for light summer (and light spring in second place) during the draping session. I never would have guessed a light season since I always thought pastels washed me out, but it turns out they brighten and even my skin tone and make me look less tired and sallow. Goes to show how much more effective an in-person session is compared to virtual. I also loved watching her drape others. It was easier to be objective and see the difference on someone else vs yourself. My friend looks fantastic in her soft autumn drapes. The session included an overview of color theory as well as looking at different kinds of makeup and quizzing us on whether they were warm or cool shades. She also gave recommendations on which metallics for each of us to wear (eg for a formal dress but also jewelry) and we took home cards with our palettes and recommendations. Thank you Lili, lovely work!

I cannot recommend the Personal Shopping Experience more - a ton of value for what it costs, especially if you're looking to completely change your wardrobe. Lili drove to my house, we went through style aspirations and how I want to be perceived, she conducted a color analysis, went through the likes of my current wardrobe and created a list of items to shop for. I met her the following week where she had prepared a huge amount of tops, pants, jackets, and shoes for me to try on. I had a great time and kept most of the clothes. She is honest about what looks good on you and has the innate ability to understand when you know you just don't love something and we put it back. I will be contacting Lili again to style me for another season for sure! Lili - thank you so much for helping me build my new wardrobe. I'm feeling much more like myself and everyone has been able to see my new confidence and loves the clothes as much as I do. See you soon!

Working with Kathryn has completely changed the way I think about fashion, shopping, and personal…read morestyle. I purchased three services: custom color mapping, face and feature analysis, and dress for body type - every single one of which exceeded my expectations. What impressed me the most was how personalized everything was. She didn't simply assign me to a seasonal color palette or follow a generic formula. She carefully analyzed my unique features and created recommendations specifically for me. The color analysis was incredibly eye-opening. Before working with her, I had no idea what my undertone was or which colors truly complemented me. Now I finally understand why certain colors never looked right on me and which ones make me look my best. The face and feature analysis was equally detailed. She took multiple photos and carefully evaluated my features instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. The PDF she provided was incredibly comprehensive, covering flattering glasses, hairstyles, jewelry, necklines, patterns near the face, and even tips on posing for photos based on my facial features. I especially appreciated that she pointed out my strongest features and explained how to highlight them with the right accessories and styling choices. The body type analysis was much more detailed than I expected. Rather than simply assigning me a body type, she considered my individual proportions and created recommendations tailored specifically to me. The PDF included guidance for tops, pants, skirts, shorts, necklines, silhouettes, and many other clothing details, making it easy to understand what enhances my shape and creates the most balanced look. The biggest difference has been the confidence I've gained. Before working with her, I often bought clothes and makeup simply because they were trendy or on sale, without knowing whether they actually suited me. Looking back, I realized that many of those purchases weren't the best fit for my coloring, face shape, or proportions. Since then, I've gradually replaced them with pieces that truly complement me, and the difference has been incredible. One of the most valuable outcomes is that shopping has become so much easier and more enjoyable. Whether I'm shopping in a department store or browsing online, I can quickly eliminate items that don't suit my colors, proportions, or style and focus only on pieces that truly work for me. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by endless options, I shop with confidence and make much better decisions. This experience has genuinely transformed the way I shop and dress. I now have a much clearer understanding of what works for me and why, and I feel far more confident in my choices. If you're looking for personalized styling that goes far beyond generic advice, I highly recommend working with her. The level of detail, care, and customization Kathryn puts into her work is truly exceptional.

The service was advertised as including a fully personalized color map; flattering light and dark neutrals, whites, reds, metals, and eye-enhancing shades; detailed makeup and hair guidance; a digital palette; and personalized notes. As of the time of writing, I have not received those materials. What I received after the appointment was approximately twenty photographs of myself holding groups of fabric swatches. I did not receive a written color profile, personalized notes, a digital palette that I could use for shopping, or the promised makeup and hair recommendations. For a service costing nearly $500, I expected considerably more explanation and practical guidance. I was also uncomfortable throughout the appointment. The interaction did not feel welcoming, and I frequently felt as though my questions or presence were an inconvenience. Parking near the location was also very difficult, which prospective clients may want to plan for. I did not feel confident about many of the colors selected for me. Several of the deep burgundies, muted plums, brownish pinks, and very dark shades looked heavy or unflattering to me. The colors were generally presented in groups, and I did not leave with a clear understanding of which specific shades, neutrals, depths, or saturation levels suited me best. Most disappointing, I left feeling more confused about my coloring rather than more confident. Given the price, the limited information provided, the lack of practical guidance, and my discomfort during the appointment, I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

She then organized a visit to the store where she had already lined up clothes that would likely be a good fit for me - and her hit rate on this was very high. She then organized outfits for me, which was super helpful.  Overall, with minimal time on my part, she completely upgraded my wardrobe and I've been continuing to work with her to refresh things over the years. I've been extremely happy with the wardrobe she created for me and with her service overall. I highly recommend her.

Very nice lovely woman but my overall experience with her was certainly not worth the $450 I paid…read more I could go into how I was told a two-hour session "typically' meant 25 complete looks but only got 13 after paying for three at $150/hr (even though I did everything I could to prep her including clearly outlining my expectations, style & what exactly it was I wanted; making sure all my clothes, shoes, etc were displayed/laid out/hanging on rolling racks to maximize efficiency)... and how I had to go back and request a second courtesy appointment to get the additional looks (which, in her defense, she did agree to and was very nice about)... obviously not the ideal experience but she did resolve the issue to my satisfaction so at that point, we were square in my book. But then it took THREE MONTHS to get a hard copy of my look book --- the lookbook which was the *entire reason* I hired her in the first place... the lookbook that she said would arrive on my doorstep within a week or so... the lookbook that she says she sent but never actually arrived. (And when I requested a tracking number or the name of the site she ordered it from, I didn't get a response.) I finally got the book after I saw her offering a Daily Candy deal for styling services -- a few weeks prior she had told me she was (understandably) unable to do anything about my lookbook as she was out of town attending to a sick family member. I didn't want to bug her but after seeing the Daily Candy email I figured if she was around to do Daily Candy stuff, she was probably around to send me my freaking lookbook. I sent a cordial yet firm email mentioning Daily Candy and immediately got a response-- the tracking numbers and lookbook (yay! finally!) arrived just a few days later. I get that stuff happens but it would be awesome if people could manage expectations -- don't say it will take a week when it takes a month. And don't make clients chase after you for something they've been promised or already paid for. As far as her fashion/styling abilities, the looks I got were ok BUT I think that's more on me than a reflection of her abilities. I had requested looks more in tune with SF's more relaxed, laid back vibe but a relaxed, laid-back style just isn't me. (I like my tailored/severe/menswear look. Sorry, SF.) The looks were like something you'd see in Lucky -- nice and well put together... just not my thing though.

Didn't go to any other stores. Bummed because I have a Macy's at home. I wanted the San Francisco experience. Next was a salon (friend of hers) where I got basically the same highlights and cut/style that I get from my own stylist for 3 times the price. Wrapped it up with makeup, actually from Macy's make-up counter which they do for free. It was strongly suggested I buy some of the products. Underwhelmed. Then she mentioned most people tip so of course I did. When my husband picked me up he was surprised I didn't look much different. Back at our hotel I tried everything on for him.
