I was like wtf so I said "how's it going" and he said he needed to see ID. Ok so first off I'm 27 and a. Dude with a bunch of tattoos and a beard don't think i look 20. But even if thats the case ask for my ID. Why are you just staring like a weirdo. Awkward as hell. Then today I go in there, I walk in and without glancing at the register I stop at the front to look at some lemonades I had never seen before and decide I wanted a Powerade so I head to back and this dude b lines it back there , he's wearing regular clothes so I thought he was a customer at first, he is pretending to look at alcohol, it really just seemed like I was planning on stealing and was watching me how he came to the very back of the store and was just fiddling with stuff. Which I'm not sure why he'd assume that. Anyway i grab my drink and have to go up front and I'm looking around trying to see where the person working is. He walks up from behind me and is talking to me in some condescending tone like he prevented me from stealing or something. She must've thought that I was a teeny bopper driving my parents car and using my parents cc because of how she acted. I asked for $20, (to keep it full since gas prices keep changing and I would rather keep it ful)...irrelevant.... anyway, she rang up $60. Read on... I used my Mastercard which, I KNEW has money and she stated that it was declined. I used my Visa card which I also KNEW has money, again she says declined...I used my Amex which again KNEW IT HAS MONEY, again DECLINED ... SHE WAS FULL OF IT and the only reason I know that, is because she never ran them because they are all set up to send me alerts which none did! THE machine didn't make a decline noise nor did it say declined. Finally I told her, "I KNOW" that I have money on these so it's your machine, respectfully. Oooh ...then, suddenly the first Mastercard that I used, went through! Honestly. I felt as if she did that on purpose. Grownups don't have time to play games SABRINA!!! She asked if I wanted a receipt and at first I said no but then, I said yes because I didn't trust her. I get the receipt and it clearly shows she was running $60 and voiding it out as she was pretending to be processing them. Who does that!!! Shady chick! Gas station Karen! Remind you, that anytime a transaction is run on my credit cards, I GET IMMEDIATE ALERTS...I NEVER GOT ANY UNTIL THE END WHEN SHE FINALLY ALLOWED ME TO PROCESS... what a joke! I was relieved to find the tea tasted fresh, which hasn't always been the case on previous visits. It was also great to see the new grill area open following the recent renovations. My only complaint is that the parking lot was a bit messy; I actually tripped on an old water bottle on my way to the car. The drink station and surrounding floor was a mess and it didn't appear that the employees were in any hurry to get it cleaned up. That said, they were friendly and the checkout process was efficient. The store is large and has a wide variety of products as one would expect.
