I really appreciate the communication through text message prior to my appointment and with an appointment reminder for my upcoming appointment. The facility was clean and very open. Sometimes chiropractors will try to set up shop in former office spaces which are hard to navigate around those small rooms. This was very spacious. Over the past five years of having back issues off and on, I've never had x-rays done and it was very helpful. The chiropractor was personable and fun. Also knowledgeable. He seemed understanding and asked questions to get to the root of the causes of my issues. When discussing my past powerlifting he was acknowledging and understanding as well. I was also given the choice of ongoing treatment plan. Did I want to just come in for adjustments or do I actually want to try to fix the problem long-term. This was helpful because I have encountered chiropractors who almost want you to remain addicted to their services trying to get you to come in every couple of weeks, and also chiropractors who pop you back in and turn you out until your next visit. This was nice because I truly do want to solve the problem and not always have to see a chiropractor when I can least fit it into my schedule or when out of town to have to go to someone unfamiliar all of the time. I'm excited to move forward with a plan of action, and most importantly I look forward to being able to lay on the rolling table next visit. Essentially it is a flat table but the whole middle section is unpadded and there's a rollerball that moves up and down the spine my legs are elevated. Dr. Chris Haug provides service above and beyond!…read more I've been going to Dr. Chris for years, but in mid-May, I experienced excruciating pain related to Piriformis Syndrome and Sciatica. I first went to the ER and was given pain meds, steroids and muscle relaxers. Not being one who likes to take any meds, I found improvement within two weeks of far-beyond-excellent care with Dr. Chris and no meds. This was a new situation for me, and it's going on nearly three months of recovery time. I'm still seeing Dr. Chris' and following his directives to "take it slow, keep doing those stretches, and come back in if you see any reversal in our progress," but I'm walking and even working out a bit. Pretty amazing when one considers my pain was a 10 and I could not walk further than a few steps at a time. Now, I have no pain. I've read and learned that this condition can often take much longer to heal, so I'm beyond grateful to have such a caring and focused chiropractor to care for me.
