I booked an appointment with this salon, had my appointment confirmed, and then showed up on time. When I showed up to my appointment, Aiden told me that my booking was a mistake/that nobody was available to cut my hair. Please understand that I would have no problem with an honest mistake, and I would not be upset if this situation was handled with any sense of apology from the business for playing with my time. However, it was apparent to me based on Aiden's demeanor that it had not been a "mistake", because he was not even remotely apologetic, and he made absolutely zero effort to even ask if I wanted to reschedule/to retain me as a customer; he simply insinuated I had to leave. I believe Aiden refused to service me when he saw who I was (I have never interacted with him in real life, but we have seen each other on Grindr; I had no idea he worked here, and regardless it didn't matter to me, because I came to get my hair cut, not to interact with any human being in particular). Why is the receptionist choosing who is allowed to get their hair cut here based on their personal baggage? It's a shame I have to leave this one star review, because I was looking forward to discovering a new hair salon. For all I know, perhaps the actual hair stylists are great.

First, I was charged $35 for a haircut that would have cost $11 at the barber school. Not embarrassing, but not good either.
