She's an expert in her area and the only hair stylist I have ever felt comfortable just sitting in the chair and letting do what she thinks would look good. Whenever I have a cut from her my hair falls easily, in the right ways, and continues to for even three months after a haircut. Two other good friends of mine go to her and have the same experience--though they have very different hairstyles. She's a master at figuring out what looks good on a person and how to do what they want done. To add icing to the proverbial cake, Esther is very personable and friendly and works hard to give you the best service. Regarding the salon itself--it is very cute and classy, and has a very personable feel. It's beautifully done inside. The only thing I might change would be to make the salon easier to find by a more prominent or brighter sign--it's a grey kind of sign with just "C" on it, if I remember correctly. But! I have yet to find anyone that cuts hair better than she does. She is artistic, funky, professional, detail-oriented and open-minded. She works with her customers to ensure that they get exactly what they want. The salon itself is absolutely amazing. It is brand new and just opened up. Carlie designed it herself and the thought that went into it is evident in everything there. There are blow dryers at each station that hang down from the ceiling like a pneumatic hose at an oil change place. There is cool variable lighting, a fireplace and comfortable couch for customers while they wait. All in all a great place run by an amazing hair stylist. Can not recommend it any more highly.
