Whoever answers the phone will help you, and if they say they will look into something and call you back they will actually do so, and do so promptly. As he prepares to leave for "big kid school," the difference is clear: he is exceptionally prepared. Thanks to their focus on Kindergarten readiness, he isn't just meeting benchmarks-he's exceeding them. He has the academic foundation and the classroom confidence to step into his next chapter without missing a beat. The staff doesn't just watch the kids-they truly adore them. From the patient teachers to the wonderful administrators, the level of care is outstanding. Everyone is patient with us. Every teacher we have ever had, even the ones we were uncertain about at the start, have all adored our daughter and treated her better than family. Her current teachers, Rachel, Dina, and Gigi are so attentive and kind. We truly enjoy talking to them at pick up and drop off. Most of all, I want to acknowledge that daycare is expensive and it's hard to leave your baby with others. I can say with all honesty that my wife and I utter the phrase, "worth every penny," multiple times a month. Our daughter has excelled here and gotten so many experiences and built so many relationships that we would never have had the time or resources to provide working full time.

I understand that private schools can be selective, but clear communication and basic courtesy should still be part of the process. Even a general explanation or guidance would have shown respect for families going through admissions. Based on this experience, I would caution other parents to be prepared for limited communication and to consider whether this aligns with the level of support and openness they expect from a school community.

The classrooms are huge and spacious, the teachers GENUINELY care for the kids they care for, and they spend time doing activities that challenge their brain. As a non-profit, they hold several benefits, the most well known probably being their popular Seeing Stars Benefit each winter. We get students from here that perform often in various productions at Flint Youth Theatre and Whiting Auditorium. Very quality performances. It shows in their level of professionalism. These kids are amazing. They are literally stars in the making. It's always a thrill to see them onstage. Many of them are regulars every season in the Whiting's production of The Nutcracker. They always look like they are having a blast, too. The FSPA's contributions to the cultural center and the Whiting's productions have been immeasurable. You can't put a value on it. A good thing, indeed, for this town.
