One morning I got on Facebook and started scrolling threw some sale sites and see an add for…read moredaycare.. typically I would've screen-shot for later but, as I was reading the add something told me to instant message and see about where it went from there. After time we went ahead and set an interview. Tina was so nice and warming, it was like I knew her or have met her before! I came to find out she herself worked in daycare with special needs children for quite some time and much more! As we where talking and she was showing me everything she has for the children and things she does and the schedules and everything I couldn't stop thinking about how during this whole time I couldn't help to feel like This is it! Have I found the one?! Mind you prior to this meeting we had we had communicated for about a week until the day also realizing she was located literally 3 minuets from my home which is an absolute steal because my job is a mile out from my home!! Flexible hours to fit my work schedules etc. After everything was set, registered and we're all good to start a new chapter in our lives, BOOM.. It's now almost 3 years later!!! My children eased into her daycare like butter my son did take some adjusting but she made him feel right at home.. During this whole experience not only have my children grown, they've learned, they've been potty trained, they are so smart and started walking talking and doing things on their own sooner than expected. I have the upmost respect and gratitude for this daycare!! My oldest daughter now 9 almost 10 has bonded and even has became best friends with Ms.Tinas daughter because at this point they've grown up together and it's such a pleasure to be able to see my daughter actually have a friend she can be with outside of school and not make her feel as if she is in actual daycare (as she's older than most of the children occupying the daycare). She also helps with pick ups from school!! My children look to MS.Tina and her family as family.. There home has an open floor plan and sections designated for different activities all while still having a home feel! Their daycare provides meals, snacks, school and much more. During the pandemic things got rough for everyone. Although I was in the medical field that did not stop for me.. the schools shut down and my daughter sadly like everyone had to revert to online learning. I wouldn't have had the full capabilities between work and home to give my oldest my 100 percent time and attention to provide help and access to recourses she may have needed in me... my daughter completed a whole grade and a half due thanks to Ms. Tina and her families daycare! making sure she was supplied and equipped with everything she needed, taking the time to make sure her P.E was done, math looked over and any questions she had where addressed! My daughter since virtual learning and going back to actual school has continued to get mathematician awards and I know it's due to her amazing help. This amazing care definitely stems from the personalities and great experience and ethics this family has had over the years!! Not only do I trust them with my children but I trust them with everything. They go on field trips to the park and or to get ice cream, they've even had a long distance field trip to an amazing area where they rock climbed( for kids) and had a picnic and more. My children feel safe with them and most importantly I feel my children are in great hands when in their care. They have became such a huge part of my families lives and it's so crazy how time flies so fast when you have people that you don't realize you've became so comfortable with that it's like a where did the time go!! Seriously, my kids are huge now, Where has the time gone!!! They've watched my babies grow as I have, they've seen my children's first steps, heard their first words! Now they're speaking sentences, potty trained and is being potty trained. My babies know there shapes colors numbers and do things that as you know a parent could only be proud of! My oldest whom used to be so shy and kept to her self never asked for anything just all around to herself, now socially active within the people she's around.. showing us the beautiful and smart girl she going to be and so much more!! I know this is now getting terribly long, but tbh there's soooo much more I could write about because I feel like I haven't given enough credit but they know how I am so grateful for them! Tina has become such a blessing and one of the main people in my life, especially when it comes to my kids and I couldn't thank them enough for the years of dedication to my children and the other children they care for that my children have had the pleasure of bonding with! Licensing requires 2 staff members for the full room of 24 kiddos. There were times I would go in and there would be 16-18 kids with o e teacher. Even with two teachers it was still very chaotic. My grandson got hurt often. Sometimes I would pick him up and. Ono e k we how he got scratches or large swollen bumps. There was a huge turn over in staff including the director and things just seem to get worse. I'm so glad I found a new place for him before he got seriously injured. She's so good with the kiddos and is very smart and knows all the daycare regulations. She knows about children food programs. When I first met her, she showed me all her credentials and background checks because I was worried about leaving my baby at first but knowing how safe, knowledgeable, and good she is with the baby, I felt safe. I highly recommend her. She's reliable and bilingual which was important because I wanted my baby to learn Spanish. The daycare set up is nice as well, she has toys for kids to play and learn, drawing, she feeds the kids well, and has a playground too. But above all else, she makes sure the kids are safe. My baby has never came home with a diaper rash (had that issue with the last person) so that's a good thing too lol. My baby seems happy.
