They were exceptionally responsive to an urgent situation, communicated extensively and effectively throughout, offered their services at an exceptional price, and acted with the highest level of professionalism. That earns them the five-star rating. The extra star goes to their extraordinary customer service to address confusion during the job. The problem was that I had moved to the west coast, and had to have a friend take care of the on-sight assistance. I had arranged what was to be taken out with Gino's Service in advance, but my friend and I did not communicate as well. She told them to take out far more than needed to be removed. The folks at Gino's coordinated the communication, took care of the problem, and got everything resolved quickly while de-escalating the tension that resulted from all of the confusion. Service was incredible - starting with a fast responses to set an appointment for 48 hrs after first contact. I needed to remove living room furniture and an elliptical to make room for new furniture and Gino's provided the best timing before new furniture delivery, and it was the cheapest option. Eric & John arrived in the delivery window with a courtesy call 10 minutes ahead of their arrival, then got right to work with the oversized couch, arm chair, two ottomans, and the elliptical machine, which I know is a beast and has over stayed it's welcome in my apartment because I had no clue how to get rid of it. After estate sale - had a laundry list of items left in sub-basement and they weren't metal. So after a few mistakes of calling scrappers who only wanted metal.... FINALLY found these guys via yelp. A call to them at 12 noon on a Monday and within an hour they were at the house giving us a quote to get rid of EVERYTHING remaining. We had a tri-level with a sub-basement - the sub-basement was filled with the most random things - a dark room developing table being one of the oddest items - but the list went on and one as to what needed to be hauled out. My experience with Gino's Junk Removal Services has been nothing but stellar. We just moved into our new home and needed to get rid of a large projection TV, entertainment set and other old cabinetry. I needed to get rid of a heavy dresser, 4 solid oak closet doors and the salt bin from a water softener. I called on a Friday around 2:30pm and the gentleman on the phone said they could possibly fit me in around 4pm. At around 3:50 they called and said they were 5 minutes away. Erik and Big John introduced themselves and couldn't be nicer. Erik asked to be shown what was going. He then explained what they were going to do. They are very skilled in what they do. They wrapped the dresser with heavy blankets and with great skill got that heavy thing down a difficult staircase. Not a wall was scratched. They were awesome. On a strong recommendation from our nephew, we called Gino's for old paint removal. When talking with Scott, he warned me it would be a little expensive, but assured me it would be done responsibly, which was my greatest concern. He said Eric would be coming on Monday between 9:00 & 10:00 AM. Eric called us at 9:00 AM, to say he'd be arriving between 9:30 & 10:00, right on time for our window. We're very difficult to find & we asked that he call us when close, to talk him in. He did & carefully drove down our long, forested drive way. HE WAS A DELIGHT! My sincerest apologies to Gino's Junk Removal! I could have sworn I finished this review but it looks like it was sitting in my drafts the whole time.... I called Gino's in mid-2022 to haul away the left over scraps from a kitchen counter remodel as well as some other bits we needed gone as well. The gentleman on the phone let me know they could come out next day, which was fine. But then a few min later, he called back to say someone could come out same day, which was even better! Eric came out and not only took care of all the stuff I had out but also asked about a couple of other things that I also needed gone! Within my lunch break I was able to call (and talk to a real person named Scott in one try), have one of their trucks dispatched to my house in Wheaton and have my garage (full of 6 months worth of junk) emptied out. I called Gino's a couple days ago and talked w/ Scott, who had this big, booming voice. He was courteous and direct over the phone, taking down my information. It was late in the afternoon, but he promised one of their staff, Eric, would stop by later that night and give a free quote to remove some old cabinets I had removed. He showed up at 8pm and we agreed on a fair price and Eric immediately went to work in the rain and removed the cabinets from my driveway in 15 minutes! We were very happy with Gino's services. On the day of our call, we had an appointment for next day service with a defined pick up window. 30 minutes before arrival, they called to let us know they were on their way. Eric and Sam looked at our various piles of "stuff" and gave us a very fair price and proceeded to remove everything with care for the house and garage. We had a very heavy (300-400 lbs) old water softener which required thought and special maneuvering to remove from the basement. They did a terrific job talking and working through that item. I called Gino's Junk Removal on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00. I was told Eric would be at my house around 3:30 to give me a price quote. At 3:00, Eric called to say he and John would be there between 3:30 and 3:40. They arrived right on time and Eric gave me a quote within 10 minutes. It wasn't a huge job so they were able to stay and had removed everything and cleaned up within an hour. I could not believe how fast and fair they were, and how great the basement and shed looked afterward. Gino's really saved us on moving day when we needed a good amount of garbage removed from our garage pronto! What a great service! I called at the last minute to have a bunch of miscellaneous junk around the yard that the previous owners left behind, because I was having a fence put in and I wanted the yard all cleaned when the fence was completed so that it would look awesome. If we could give 10 stars, we would. Seriously. Eric and Big John went so above and beyond the call removing a fence from our house - it was entangled by very old roots, and they stayed at it 'til long after the sun had gone down. Even used a magnet to pick up stray pieces of metal around the area where the fence had been removed. They removed and hauled away an old wheelchair ramp, a huge amount of fencing, as well as a huge old workbench from the previous owners. Eric and Big John (it's ironic) absolutely rocked. The 70-year old fence on our rental property was rotted and literally falling down, and we needed it and a couple of cement footings removed from the yard. They showed up on time, couldn't have been nicer and proceeded to dead lift every piece of rusty nail-punctured rotted fence and threw it into their truck. They were done in 20 minutes and the whole process couldn't have been easier. The whole thing was worth it just to watch Big John pick up the 2' long chunk of solid concrete and fling it into the back of the truck. Made my back hurt just watching. read more

These guys are great! My dad downsized and moved out and left a house full of stuff. After sorting through everything to find the items we wanted to keep, and I called Gino's to come get the rest. There were items, furniture, boxes, etc on nearly every floor of the house and a garage full of stuff. They came out, give me a quote in a few minutes, and started hauling everything out.
